Real value for money. Quaint charecter cottage with all mod cons. Peaceful village location with two very different but welcoming pubs close by. Sherwood Forest Country Park is certainly worth a visit and only approx 4 miles away.

“Nicely located, well equipped and maintained cottage.”

White Horse Cottage is in a lovely village, 5 miles from the Major Oak visitor centre. It is well equipped and spacious, though watch out for the low beam at the bottom of the stairs - ouch!

Two lounges and a lovely big kitchen table mean plenty of space for a family to spread out, and two loos/showers mean no queue for the bathroom - nice big bath too.

“Lovely Stay”

This is a beautiful cottage that me and partner went to for 3 nights for a birthday treat. From the minute we got there we were instantly relaxed and in awe of the cottage. The area is quiet and peaceful and there are lots of things to do within driving distance, White Post Farm was a really good day as well as a visit to Sherwood Forest. Would recommend this stay to anyone looking to get away for a nice break.

Thanks again to Julie for everything.

“Spacious, clean cottage in a pretty location”

Stayed for a weekend and would have liked to stay longer. The cottage was really clean which makes a nice change! Bed was comfy, lovely large bathroom.Very well equipped too. Yes the stairs are very steep but then it is a cottage so not unusual. Wellow is pretty with a pub across the road. No village shop but Tesco not far away. I would like to return for a longer stay.

The location was very good as it was close to all we wanted to do . I wish we had stayed the week. The cottage was very comfortable and clean and had a great selection of books and two living rooms so you we got some peace and quiet from the kids . Try the beer brewed for the Red lion . One of the best beers I've ever had .

Thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay at the beautiful cottage and surrounding village of Wellow. It has been furnished to a high standard and everything has been thought of. The wood burner in one of the two lounges make a lovely feature. Visit to Belvoir Castle is recommended.
