Blue Bay Antigua is a unique and enchanting experience, a villa on an empty peninsula with 180 degree views of ocean bays. Children might become a bit restless after 48 hours, but adults will want to linger there forever (unless they are looking for a party place). The hosts Cecilia and Michele are charming-- and great cooks--and the villa is fully equipped, with wifi, tv, swimming pool, and everything for luxury and comfort. 5 stars.

We stayed two nights in Blue Bay in February 2017 and had a really nice experience. The house is located on a cape with fantastic 360 degrees view of the see below. The welcome from Valentina was very warm. We had a nice bedroom with two big beds ideal for our family of 4. In the evening we never suffered from the mosquito bites as there was always a breeze. And in the morning we enjoyed a breakfast in front of our room with the same stunning view, followed by a swim in the pool.
If you want to visit the island then I recommend renting a car as the house is located on top of a hill in Seaton. if not, I think Valentina offers some transfer possibilities to the beaches around (and airport transfer too). We had a car and could go out for dinner in the evening (to English Harbour) and to the beautiful beach of Half Moon Bay. Btw, Stingray city is in the same village as Blue Bay.

My young son and I stayed at Blue Bay for one night en route to Montserrat. Spectacular view of the ocean and lovely, spacious, clean rooms. The owners were so accommodating and kind. We felt at home in this safe, beautiful, quiet spot. The dinner that was prepared for us was just what we wanted. This will be our Antigua stopover spot each year!

Where do I start? I make no apologies that this review is a little gushing, Blue Bay is genuinely a little slice of Antiguan paradise.

Having arranged our transfer from the airport with Valentina, Oscar (our driver, truly superb!) dropped us at the property and as you walk through the front doors you're greeted not just warmly by Valentina but also by the most stunning views of the pool, the gardens and the ocean.

Our room was on the corner of the property by the pool; a lovely big room with a walk in wardrobe(with LOTS of coat hangers!), huge bed and lovely big bathroom.

We were in Antigua for the cricket and wanted to skip the usual all inclusive offering which is how we ended up choosing Blue Bay and we were so glad we did. Whilst the property is remote, let's face it so are most all inclusive resorts. On our first evening Valentina cooked tomato and basil pasta for us (they have a limited snack menu they cal do for the evening, it was the nicest "snack" we've had!). We ventured into English harbour on our second evening (Valentina's recommendations are always spot on), brought food back from our trip to St. John's on the third evening and then Matteo cooked on our last evening; THAT was special, he is truly a culinary genius!

Breakfast is a delight with fruit, cereals, yoghurt, breads and eggs your choice served with fresh juice and tea or coffee, just what you need to set you up for the day.... oh and it's served on the terrace outside of your room so you can take in the spectacular views.

Whilst Blue Bay is remote, I'd suggest you hire a car, explore what is truly a beautiful island and enjoy the peace and tranquility of this wonderful property. It's easy to choose an all inclusive resort in Antigua, it's not easy to find a gem of a B&B but this truly delivers

Finally a word about Valentina; she runs this place with warmth, charm, efficiency and an encyclopaedic knowledge of what to do and where to eat in the island. A better host you will not find. She and Matteo have created a real diamond, its homely, immaculate, comfortable and stunningly beautiful. We genuinely loved it.

I just stayed two nights at Blue Bay . I was coming off a work stint of three months on my way home. I was pretty toasted and needed a bit of chill time before heading back to the cold uk.
My initial impression was that it was a little tired and in need of some work here and there. ...however the location is absolutely fantastic if you like peace and beauty . Your hostess Valentina is very attentive and kind and you really feel like this is your house to enjoy and relax in. The pool area is gorgeous and that view for a bit of early morning yoga - very special .
I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it as long as you are looking for a friendly honest quiet place in a fab location. Home from home but better !
