“Quality Food & Atmosphere”

Serenity and Comfort. These words come to mind when I think of this place. The walk through the beautiful and colorful vineyard to get to the restaurant is alone quite picturesque.
The restaurant is set in the heart of the vast vineyard. Its atmosphere is very homey and the food quality rivals other similar cuisines by a landslide.

There’s a buffet of salads, sautéed and grilled vegetables, soup, bruschetta, … Roasted chestnuts made in the indoor chimney and other mini treats are already set on your table. Everything looks very simple yet you can sense and taste that great detail went into preparing it. You have some cheese fondue while conversing with your friends with soft music in the background. The T-bone steak is just excellent and made in front of you in the fireplace. The servers are friendly and well trained. And your wine glass never runs empty!!!!

The combination of quantity & quality of food, and the festive atmosphere urges you to stay and stay and stay...

I highly recommend it!

“My favorite restaurant in Lebanon”
Reviewed 27 January 2013

Massaya--The hidden treasure of the Becca Valley

From the wide selection of traditional but modern Lebanese delicacies to the diverse buffet of deserts and appetizers, Massaya offers a variety of savory and original Middle Eastern yet also Western dishes.

West meets East in Massaya.

Sitting by the fireplace overlooking the picturesque winery, one can only wish to be sipping on a glass of wine. Massaya does not fall short of its wine selection: from its Gold Reserve and Silver Selection to its Classic, Blanc, and Rouge wine, each has its unique complexity and pleasure.

The atmosphere is yet another unique part of the Massaya culture. Instead of separating the tables to give customers an individual and solitary experience, Massaya brings people together. It does so by providing two long wooden tables for people to share---an authentic Lebanese experience.

The Lebanese authenticity does not stop there. The cook and the owner regularly come out to check on the cheese fondue that is melting by the fireplace, the birds that are cooking on the open fire, the sage tea that is boiling near the buffet, and much more. Like a true Lebanese mother, the cook makes sure her guests are well-fed, asks how they are doing, and continues to bring out more and more food.

I highly recommend---no I insist---every person who sets foot in Lebanon to pay a visit to Massaya, a true Lebanese experience.

“enjoyed it”
Reviewed 22 October 2012

great food nice setting and very generous winery... wine kept on being refilled too generous that maybe they should ask for a designated driver on each table and control the amount of wine they give him
i visited all major wineries in the bekaa and i can easily say ksara has the BEST setting and most beautiful winery/storing area
massaya has the best food
so i would say do ksara first enjoy the beauty of the place then head to massaya for lunch...

“One of my best experiences ever!”
Reviewed 11 October 2012 via mobile

Fabulous set up here and we met both owners who could not have been more charming. Previous reviews seem to have come from one event that must have gone wrong. We found the atmosphere and ambiance to be great and the food and wine was to did for. Remember to visit the shop and buy some arak! The best in Lebanon

“Terrible management”
Reviewed 6 August 2012

This place would have been a lot nicer if it weren't for the disrespectful attitude by the owner. We were having a great time and suddenly the music, Etc. gets cut out by the owner. This happend even though the management team had agreed to everything ex-ante. This owner's behavior does not represent Lebanese hospitality. In fact, i am flabbergasted by the owner's lack of sense and understanding of what customer service is about.... Will not set foot at this place in the future... Would not recommended it...
