I am honestly thinking that there is a lot of room for improvement. Rooms are nicely decorated but missing the good will of maintenance, cleaning and care for the detail. Quite industrial environment and I am thinking not really nice to go around. The breakfast in the hotel is OK with plenty of options. I had dinner one night and was extremely disappointed of the quality, presentation and the service.

We were sent to occupied rooms twice, third time we were OK. My colleague was given a room that had not been made up, the next key he received did not work , third time lucky. There was trash in the fire escape stairs, etc. etc.
In fairness the manager only has six weeks at the hotel and he has a major job on his hands to turn this around.
The manager was excellent when notified of the many problems.
There was trash in the fire escape stairs, etc. etc.

Room Tip: The location is excellent it you have business in the PeriNorte, or the industrial Gustavo Baz area...

There are not many hotels in the norther part of Mexico City and even fewer relatively new ones. Getting into the hotel can be a challenge.....you can only access it coming north on the Periferico, and exiting onto the frontage road and and driving through the Vazquez furniture store parking lot, or by coming south on Av. Gustavo Baz and turning in the Camino Real parking lot. Either option is difficult to find at night when it is dark because neither entrance is well lit. Rooms are relatively large for the price, Internet is free and reasonably fast for a hotel connection, the desk is large enough to provide a good work station, the lighting might be better in the room. Check in and check out are not overly fast. Don't get excited about the shopping center across the Periferico (there is a pedestrian bridge), MultiPlaza Valle Dorado is one of the oldest in Mexico City and is very run down and poorly maintained, but it does have several banks and a Comercial Mexicana hipermart. There is a Costco across Av. Gustavo Baz, to the northeast, and a Mega to the south, as well as a Wal-Mart next to Mega, in another MultiPlaza. Just south of the MultiPlaza Valle Dorado is City Center Valle Dorado, which has three levels of shops and restaurants. Several of restaurants in City Center are the best in the immediate vicinity (walking distance). In short, if you forget something, you can probably get a replacement rather easily without going too far.

Room Tip: Rooms facing Av. Gustavo Baz are somewhat quieter.

The hotel is well located if you are looking for lodging in Perinorte/Naucalpan.
You can find a good rate on their website, but still it can be expensive for Mexican standards.
My only problem with this hotel and every Camino Real is that they charge for everything and it is really expensive! $5USD for a bag of bad coffee + $5USD for a liter of water is too much, especially if you know that other hotels of lower class give it for free. Also the restaurant of this hotel is bad and expensive but the service is good

Room Tip: Don't eat at the restaurant, there is a California restaurant near by.

This place is located in the north side of Mexico City, and is minutes away from the newer industrial areas of the city. Also, there is at walking distance of shopping mall just infront of the property. You also can take a cab to the biggest mall in the city called Mundo E.

Room Tip: Any room is a good option, I rather ask with the one to the view to Periferico (loop).

The was the worst hotel I've been to. When I arrived the computers were down for over an hour so I could not get to my room. The hotel appears old and dirty. The television channels were mediocre. You have to pay for Internet and it's extremely slow. The soap and shampoo had a clean but strange smell. The workout facility did not have enough treadmills to work out on. They often forgot to stock water bottles and when then did it was only one small one for free. The restaurant food was good but the service was awful - I once waited 15 minutes just to get a menu.

The only reason I stayed here was because it was across the street from my office. My recommendation is to stay at the Crowne Plaza nearby.

The hotel room furniture, looks a bit old, The Camino Real quality is not shown at this location and the rooms are very noisy, there are two major avenues on each side of the hotel and the room noise insulation is not enough I was waken up several times by trucks running by.
