I hate to write a review and publicize this place, because it is my go-to course to relax at. I have to drive an hour and twenty minutes to reach it from where I stay, and it is worth it. It is a friendly mom-and-pop operation, seemingly in the middle of nowhere, it is easy to miss, and yet it has a charm and atmosphere that I find amazing. The drive itself to it is a soothing drive through a bucolic countryside.
It used to be a 9 hole executive-type course. It still is a 9 hole course. A good golfer needs his driver only twice, on the first and second holes. In spite of that, the holes are challenging, albeit some are very short. It makes up in design what it lacks in length. The signature hole is number 9 with an elevated tee box perched high atop a hill giving a great view, with a 220 yard drive to the tight green far below.
The greens fees are reasonable. It is in terrific shape. The owners are very accommodating. This place is a gem with fantastic karma.
