After some bad experiences in Panama City, it was nice to make a stop at this place, with friendly staff. The rooms where normal size, smelled a little bit of humidity, but who cares when you have a huge patio, nice swimming pool, and slides in the pool for the kids. We ate lunch, .dinner and breakfast by the pool, while the children were playing, Nice! We stayed just 1 night, would have stayed more if we had time. Food and service in the restaurant, also good. Both the rooms and the food, not expensive. Real nice brake when your are driving from David to Panama City

Any hotel that welcomes travellers at 9:45PM for $80 w/o reservation AND includes fridge in the room (always have groceries) is a nice find. Based on other reviews, was hesitant about this place, but would stay here again enthusiastically. Full, cheap espresso bar (killer, decent size triple cappuccino for $2.50). Super sweet, helpful bellman (young guy) and other friendly staff. Plentiful hot warer pressure; strong, quiet AC, clean room. BONUS: Free laundry if you ask and don't interfere with housekeeping schedule. Never tried to sign onto internet, no interest in casino. Hairdryer has to be borrowed from front desk.

La Hacienda was a very comfortable spot to spend evenings after trekking through the countryside while on business. It is a treat to the eyes, very bright and cheerful. We had a larger room in the back with a queen bed and larger bathroom (#17). A/C and WiFi worked well and there was plenty of hot water. The restaurant was very accommodating when we needed a before hours breakfast one morning. We also had dinner - both meals were very good and good value for the dollar. English was not their strong suit, but we were able to communicate without too much difficulty! However, Nellie at the front desk was a real bright spot - and spoke excellent English!!

La Hacienda is a brightly colored and decorated Facility. We had a large room with 2 doubles and a twin bed. Beds were average - I had a hard time getting comfortable after being in the car all day. Nice swimming pool with slide that our son enjoyed. Food from Restaurant was good. They will even do your laundry but we didn't arrive early enough. Probably wont stay here again because Mykonos will be our go to place but they were booked and this had the casino...

Stayed 8 nights. The staff were friendly and understood a little bit of English. In the restaurant the chips and salsa are homemade and taste great. The first night it was noisy until about 1 am.
Each room apparently has its own unique Spanish style decor and the lobby is quite interestingly laid out as well. Vehicles can drive up to the lobby/stairs under cover so when it is raining heavily
it is not a problem.
