“Little, Local, but very accommodating”
Reviewed 11 May 2014

All previous reviewers have said all! But spent a great night there with presentation of "Big Girls Don't Cry" a great spin-off of the "Jersey Boy's" show in London. The atmosphere in this small theatre is good and the artists can come down into the audience, making it very personal. As others have said its cheaper than going to London, and the variety of programmes is very good. They also put on film nights with new releases. Really enjoy going to the Elgiva it's friendly, convenient, good fun and reasonably priced. So enjoyed this visit we booked another show to see "The Billy Joel Songbook". It is a great venue for a really fun night out at some really good shows. Give it a try, don't think anyone would be disappointed.

“Small theatre experience”
Reviewed 15 March 2014

Small town theatre which seems specialise in amateur dramatics and pantomines. Saw a tribute act, which was good, the small theatre atmosphere helps in this case. Could be more adventurous in content ton appeal to a younger clientele.

“A fantastic local theatre”
Reviewed 27 November 2013

Great theatre... great staff (volunteers)... standards of the West End, without the hassle of travel and cost of going in to London.
Well worth looking out to see what is on at this theatre. Great views from all seats!

much under used little theatre with lots of interesting things being offered. Recently went to see the the film of Queen's 1986 Budapest concert which was superb. When, normally, would you get the chance to relive the past like this? Such variety of productions.suitable for a whole range of tastes. Keep up the good work, most appreciated
