We took the trip with Inghams to the snow village in the evening and it was a 40 minutes drive by coach to the snow village.
The guide at the village gave an introductory talk about the village, how and when it was made in the chapel. We then had an hour to walk around the village and visit all of the rooms, suites, cinema, ice slide, ice bar and restaurant.
The rooms are all decorated with ice carvings but the suites are bigger, have themes carvings and ice sculptures. They are hard to photograph unless you have a good camera.
The ice slide is meant for children but slime adults braved it but it is very slippery and fast for the adults who landed in a very slippery hole at the bottom.
The ice bar serves hot and cold drinks which you can buy but there was a long queue and as we were running out of time we could not savour our drink in an ice glass or appreciate the surroundings very much. An extra half hour on the trip would have made all the difference.More
