A very very good hotel with good rooms and a very good buffet and very kind stuff except the reception guy who refused to let me check out late upon my request upon arrival and told me that they are fully booked.
Unfortunately I checked online the hotel website and found that they are not fully book at all :)
Very unprofessional behavior that can ruin a perfect hotel reputation !
Advantages are good wifi every where, warm pool water, hospitality, nice food, spaceous rooms.
Disadvantages are dirty pool water, insects every where, very very poor kids area, no entertainment at night, when we left and after checkout they stopped us at the gate to look for a lost leather remote cover until they found it. Generally does not deserve such room rate.
Just spent 2 weeks at this place. A great place. I was mainly there for the Golf. Stayed in one of the Villas which have just been built, was very nice and relaxing, shuttle to and from Hotel main building (5mins). 27 Holes of Golf, great practice facilities, the Golf Director (Ali) is your man ! No tee times required !
Flew into Cairo and the transfer was just under 2 hrs, but worth it !
I had some reservations about traveling to Egypt in the present climate. Having landed at Cairo airport we had a transfer to Ain Sukhna, which takes about 2 hours. On arrival we were allocated our rooms and although late at night we were offered some food in the room.
We were staying at the resort during a golf event, and we the golfers were about the only guests in the resort.
The rooms are spacious and well furnished, large comfortable beds and a large terrace to relax on. The only negative comment on the rooms was the shower, because the pressure of the water was very low.
We had half board and both breakfast & dinner was very good with a good choice of food, which was well cooked. All staff ere very friendly and helpful.
The beach is about a five minute walk, then you have the a try nice beach.
As mentioned we were playing golf, and there are 27 holes. The course was in good condition and was very interesting to play. The driving range and practice facilities were also very good.
I would certainly go back to Sukhna.
Having a very unprofessional customer care attitude from the hotel, as I have recieved 2 insisting phone calls from the hotel in the very early morning at 3.30 am!!!!!!!!!!!!! just to confirm my reservation.
Me and my wife stayed in this hotel for only one night. Let me say that it was a very nice time we spent over there. Clean, quite, spacious, organized and neat. Everything just was excellent.
The price is a bit expensive though.
