Our experience at Schloss Berlepsch is truly unique. I was a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army stationed at a small base nearby in Rothwesten. My girl friend was a teacher of U.S dependents at the base. We were married at the Schloss Berlepsch chapel on 30 June 1962. Last week in celebration of our 50th anniversary(now 51 years), we visited Germany and stayed overnight at the bedroom in the Castle and had a fabulous dinner. We met with the Count and his son the Baron while we were there. We were welcomed in a first class manner. The Count and his son are working very hard to restore the Castle to it's original grandeur and creating some interesting activities for the visitors. John and Colleen Kinloch
