“Beautiful Tuacany hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 May 2014 via mobile

It's perfect. Perfect for business travellers, couples or what ever thanks to it's location in the middle Tuscany. Clean, very clean rooms, hotel and rooms have enough space, wi fi, friendly and plus next to a great restaurant. Highly reccomended.

Stayed May 2014, travelled as a couple

Interesting place, quirky. Relatively new place made to look old. Bedrooms are pretty average / basic. Restaurant is OK, but nowhere near as good cooking as what one traditionally would find in Tuscany. I would say there are better options.

The whole place is wonderful including vintage photos of Italian movie stars from the 1940s and 1950s, cars, games, decor while at the same time the place offers up fabulous traditional local cuisine and wines and outdoor seating (or indoor if you prefer) under light cover. The best part of the experience is the Owner, Franco and breakfast. Be sure you ask to see Franco in his band in the 1960s. Love the Corte dell'Oca!!!

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room.

We stayed there for one week with a group 13 motorbikers. The rooms, the dinner and the friendly hosting was perfect. Own garage for the bikes. For everyone who want to stay in the region in a nice hotel with typical Tuskany meal.

4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 July 2012 via mobile

Found this by accident as mid pm and hungry and other places were closed.it is hidden away down a small road , there is limited parking. The inside can only be called quirky with lots of collectable bits and pieces from kitchenalia , old toys ,bottles, bit like a museum. We were put down the end in what was like an old kitchen. The food was good mine in particular which was papadelle with duck sauce it was very yummy. I think a Tuscan speciality. 2 had carbonara with spaghetti which was good , they had tried it twice befor and it was like scrambled egg , this was more like how it should be, only seen on the tv!One had ravioli which was only quite good , we had salad too. Generally seemed good value.
