We went for a couple of nights relaxation and that is what we got. We stayed in Willow cottage - which has just been refurbished to a high standard with new kitchen and bathroom floor. How lovely to have a swan outside the patio door tapping at the window with a steam train passing on the other side of the river!! Travelled into Whitby to people watch, as it was Goth weekend and had a lovely meal at the Magpie cafe
We met the new owners of Chainbridge - Neil and Jeanette - and they have obviously put a lot of thought and effort into the refurbishment. We would love to return later in the year and treat ourselves to a stay in the Boat Loft !!
When the miniature railway re-opens we will return with our Grandaughter in tow!!
