Loved the Villa 2 kitchens superbly equiped and barbecue house to die for !
Excellent pool in sheltered garden
We rented bikes for €50 per week after using the bikes provided ... great value and got lots of use for them

1 review A lovely family house in a non-touristy spot. Five minutes from several village bakeries and other amenities. The canal tow path made for an interesting walk, but we thought the bike hire at 15 euros an hour was rather expensive. A very good supermarket, Carrefour, was only about 10 mins away in the car. The beaches were simply wonderful: sand you could build in, gradually shelving beaches. We liked Cap d'Agde, Valras and Portiragnes. Carcassonne was about 70 minutes away and a "must" for a visit.. However, the highlight for our visit was the excellent swimming pool. (NB I would not expect our deposit back just yet as we only came back two days ago. See q. below with NA as an answer).

Breaking the review into three stages :-
Inquiry stage was very easy, all the information was provided with very quick turnarounds on emails / calls. Contract very straight forward and no 'hidden extras'. Was very pleased with the efficiency of the owners.
When we arrived at the house, it was as per the photos and description. Bedrooms and kitchen downstairs (non AirCon) and living area/balcony/kitchen/one bedroom (Aircon) upstairs. Bedrooms downstairs have all french doors and fitted wire nets so can be left open with no insect intrusions. Pool and outside area very spacious. Kids (2.5 and 8 months) loved the swing and pool. BBQ'd most evening and had some family call by for a night or two - weather was great.
Plenty of information was supplied about places to visit and see, village is small but has a nice outdoor pizzeria and wine outlets. The house is up a hill so pushing the buggy up needs some stamina - go easy on the wine !! Would have liked a little more garden / grass area for the baby to crawl around but that is nit-picking....
English TV and WiFi available , plenty of room and nice views. We enjoyed the week here and no complaints at all.
Post return, deposit was refunded in full and good levels of 'after customer care'.
Would recommend to anybody / groups travelling, especially for younger children. Would have no hesitating in going back next trip to France and probably will...Very pleased...

Stayed at this luxury villa in August 2011.... Really loved it .. great location , for beach sport and exercis
