We took a boat safari through our driver recommendation. Overall it was a good experience...the river could be maintained better. The best part of it is seeing a baby crocodile from local fisherman and cinnamon trees.

its a 2to 3 hrs boat ride along the mangroves.lots of birds can be seen.visit to an island for fish spa and spice garden is there on the way.

This ride cost us SLK 4500, Which was much cheaper then most river safari s cost.
Most companies charge SLK5000.
They is some things to see, Crocodiles maybe one, and bats and green snakes.
Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable about the mangrove.
It was indeed a lovely experience

We took a 90 minute boat ride with No. 07 Madu River Boat Safari. It was great. First we saw a range of floating shops and fish farms, then we visited a cinnamon company where we enjoyed complimentary cinnamon tea, next was a fish spa and finally we travelled to the delta. The scenery was pretty.
