What a great place this is. Lovely themed seating area outside with views of the sea.
We were in Amroth in the summer and found this had reopened as the Smugglers Bar Grill, originally the Cartwheel.
We went inside and found a fabulous kids play area on a pirate theme, with a climbing boat and other great things for the kids to play on and in.
We at there as well and the food was very nice and the service excellent.
Even if you just have a drink, they bring to your table.
We went again last week and visits twice. Our kids are 11, 8 and 2 and they all absolutely love it and can't get enough of it.
What a fantastic idea from the owners, just what the area needed.
Would fully recommend to people with and without children as a very comfortable, welcoming and friendly place either to eat or just have a drink.
We will be down that way over the New Year and this will definately be one of the places we will be visiting.

Now under the same ownership as The Pirate, the Smugglers offers a good variety of food at reasonable prices in comfortable surroundings, and with the added bonus of a play area for young children (under 8 years). Our grandchildren can't wait to return.
