“Child friendly but OK for couples”
Reviewed 28 August 2014

Excellent children's play area means that noise levels can sometimes be a little high. However, there are tables away from the play area. Food is good value with a varied menu including the usual fish 'n' chips, steak, curry, etc. As a couple we ate there more than once in our weeks holiday. staff are friendly and cheerful. You will need to book to avoid disappointment.

“Lovely food, great playtime for the kids”
Reviewed 24 August 2014 via mobile

We ate here several times on holiday. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Excellent play area for the kids.

Would advise booking a table as it can get busy particularly on weekends.

Kids can't wait to go back next year

“Great staff, great food”
Reviewed 19 August 2014 via mobile

Just left this restaurant after having a great meal with my wife and daughter. I had a piri piri chicken starter (hot enough to sizzle your fillings) and my wife and daughter shared a fish fry starter (easily big enough for two). The size of the main courses were pretty daunting but all really tasty - Mediterranean Chicken, Ribs and Ham, Egg and chips. Save room for pudding. I really recommend the turkish delight ice cream. All the staff were really friendly and chatty. Don't confuse this place with the Pirate cafe just down the road. This place is really good (especially for families)

“Best meal I've had in a long time. Lovely helpful staff too”

Seriously fantastic food. Their were 14 family members having a meal which I can only describe as superb! The lovely staff deserve a pay rise for their excellent customer care. We would all definitely go again.
