We were warmly greeted by Julia and Stuart which was quickly followed by a very welcome complimentary cup of tea and home made cake after a long journey. The guest house is peaceful and perfectly positioned to explore the coast path, Amroth and nearby National Trust, Colby Woodland Gardens or just to relax and take in the wonderful views. Our room and the facilities certainly have a 'WOW' factor. Thank you once again Julia nd Sturat for amking our stay such a delight

Everything was wonderful from the moment we parked our car to when we set out the following day to walk to Tenby. Fantastic tea and apple cake, comfortable lounge with wood burning fire, atmospheric music, soft bed, great bathroom, and all immaculately presented. What great hosts too! Next day, the breakfast was delicious (try the porridge!), just what we needed to set us up for the day ahead.
I really can't fault this place. Stay there and I promise you won't be disappointed.

We were badly in need of a relaxing hassle free stay for a long weekend and this is exactly what Stuart and Julia delivered. Nothing was to much trouble and from the minute we parked our car they made us feel right at home.
Stuart's breakfast's are excellent and whilst he is slaving away in the kitchen Julia is giving you plenty of good advice on where to go and what to see.
There was plenty of wild life to watch in their magnificent garden including a badger watch one evening.
All in all an excellent centre to stay, we couldn't speak to highly of it

We spend four days at Melliah Guest House in early September 2010. We liked the B&B very much. The room was not too big but nice and with a beatiful view to the garden. It was perfectly cleen and had an ensuite bathroom.
The hosts, Julia and Stuart, are lovely people, caring very much about their guests, but never intrusive. The breakfast is marvelous, there is a good selection of various cooked breakfasts. Everything was perfectly cooked and tastful.
There are a few pups in walking distance, which are ok. Some fine restaurants are in Tenby. Stuart und Julia gave very good advice were to go and were to stay away.

We arrived at Mellieha on a very wet and miserable afternoon. The sea was very rough and the sky overcast, but the welcome we received -(Stuart with an umbrella, the delightful afternoon tea, very pleasant and clean room)- all made the day brighten up considerably!

Stuart and Julia are a lovely helpful couple. The breakfasts were wonderful, especially the fruit starter. Their garden was beautiful, even though it was September and coming to the end of the summer.

Amroth is a lovely little village and there are 2 pubs within a reasonable walking distance, for those wanting a place to eat in the evening without having to drive. The New Inn was particularly good.

We would recommend this little gem to anyone who is looking for a restful break.
