At first this is not real 4* hotel at all. We stayed with family from Friday to Sunday as wellness guest. Our kid was so excited about aquapark. Then you arrive and swimming pool is so cold and atractions not working - no apology or discount at all. For child the bathrobe is not included in wellness package and the staff just replied that nothing can be done about this. Bowling was ok, same the price. If you want to play darts you can´t sit anywhere - so again no fun. As for the meal - there was around 50+ guests and only and only 4 staff for whole dinner. So they were running around fast and furious and your really did not feel the 4*star hotel atmosphere at all. Food was average for dinner and breakfasts, all food czech taste. Not a single simple dish from international cousine. Nothing.
The hotel area is very nice and quiet but hotel is below average even for 3*. Staff not motivated at all ,no proactive customer care. I dont think we will come again soon.

Room Tip: stay in building B or C as these are very quilet - far from lift Also ask for room with terrace wit...

As there is no possibility here to rate only the Restaurant (which is open to the public) I'm doing this here.

I cannot say anything about the hotel or the spa facilities but we were dining out the "Well & Wine" restaurant which is open to the public and advertised everywhere in the area. It was worth the visit because the food was really good and not totally the usual Czech meat feast with dumplings. We were a bit disappointed because we asked for Thai food and were handed the menu but when we ordered the same waiter as before told us there was no Thai food for two days. He probably reconned that we were too tired and hungry to look for another restaurant in the pouring rain and I must admit he was right. Most of the guests were hotel guests as the actual hotel restaurant was closed and they had buffet style dinner (looked quite nice!). We ordered á la carte, a very nice homemade liver spread, the bread that came along was soaked in garlic, not everybody's taste maybe. The roast duck was excellent, so was the Tandoori style chicken. Side dishes have to be ordered seperately and caused some confusion because we wanted potatoes AND vegetables...We didn't try the wines because Czech wines just don't suit Austrian taste buds. But the beer was okay withthe roast meat (and the lot of garlic...). Seating is stylish but quite uncomfy for eating, loud Czech pop music doesn't really add to the atmosphere.

We stayed there for a long weekend. The hotel is in a quiet area, so the only noice you can hear is from the lift if you are unlucky and your room is near the lift. The standard room was spacious, clean, beds comfortable but no minibar which I would expect to find in a four-star hotel. Free entrance to the aquapark is a bonus, but it is not very big and the water in the pool was terribly cold. The bathrobe which we found on the bed was clean but there were no slippers, which was a shame.Breakfast was OK, there was a wide choice of meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs, sausages, sweet cakes, juices, a variety of teas and coffee. There was enough food, supplied all through the breakfast time.Wifi did not work in the room only in the lobby, you had to ask for a flex to connect to the internet in the room- a bit of a problem with a tablet.Parking is free, but there were not enough parking spaces. The hotel is a bit pricey for what you get.

- First, hotel is not 4*
- Very unpleasant management of the hotel, everything was a problem:

- The room should be ready for 4 but they prepared only for 3
- Bowling track is terrible
- Cold water in the swimming pool
- No service at terrace
- Late checkout did not work
- EUR 30 extra charge for dinner (out of package)

I understand that it might be difficult to attract pro customer oriented staff - in the middle of nowhere - but even the management ignored all feedback and rather was hiding in their offices...

The only positive is location but there are more options in Lipno, which is not far from Frymburk

I have been there in October. It wasn´t too bad as somebody say. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy, I slept well there. There is quiet in the night for sleeping. The room size is OK, itś spacy and cosy. On the bed I found the bathrobe, it was a bit annoying there wasn´t any sleepers for wellness activities. I had to use my shoe, which was really uncomfortable, because I had only shoes with high heels.
The restaurant is OK for having dinner there. You might have a problem with different tastes, because I would say itś more czech typical food. But it was a buffet. There was a plenty of food and good choice.Meats, salads, cold dinner , pasta... Ala -carte restaurant is a very good. We had a lovely lunch there.
The watter in the pool is cooler, but itś not too bad. We were playing some games in the pool. There is a small part of the pool for swimming, wirpool... I was a bit dissapointed of the size of the wellness, but pools are included in the price. You have to pay an extra money for sauna and other stuff.( Usually itś included in the price of the hotel).
The breakfast is great, there is plenty of food, everyone can choose.
Generally I liked this place, itś set up in a beutiful area. This place is great for families or for business meetings.
