First, we were placed in the sunrise room, which was great. This 2nd floor room is very nicely adorned in teal and white, with a beautiful glass swordfish sculpture. This room is only for two. It features tile flooring throughout and a king size bed. However, the view of the ocean and especially the sunrise and sunset were stunning. There is a TV, but really it’s not going to be used very much. There is also AC, which if your in the room between 9A and 5P is useful. Otherwise, the ocean breeze is all you need.
Second, your going to love the owners! Barbara is full of energy and knowledge of the island. John is more laid back and is a musician. He was also our breakfast chef and we thoroughly enjoyed each breakfast (especially the fruit) and the conversation each morning. However, one morning, Barbara fixed breakfast burritos, which were fantastic and you have to get some before you leave. Now, do not hesitate to ask Barbara anything about the island. She can make any arrangements you might require. I can truthfully say that they did everything within reason and perhaps, beyond reasonable to make our stay exceptional!
Advice, Listen to Barbara and John. They recommended that we rent a car, which we did not do. We spent as much on taxi’s as anything on our trip, even after they got us great deals on many of the trips we took. It adds up quicker than you will imagine. This is because you are 8 to 10 minutes by foot from West Bay. However, this also means IT IS QUIET!
To sum it up, the title says it all. “WE WILL BE BACK!” The wife and I go to Roatan at least once a year. John and Barbara are awesome, the room was great, breakfast included, and likely the quietest place on the island. You’ll be hard pressed to find better anything and I believe you won’t for the price.
My mom and I really enjoyed our stay at Noel Manor. Our room was very clean and the the neighbourhood is very peaceful and quiet (only the sound of the waves). On top of that, Barbara and John were exceptional hosts, very friendly and accommodating. They served us awesome breakfasts too! I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking to get a restful vacay.
First trip to Roatan and we moved around on the island a lot and stayed at different places. We were a little hesitant at first if we were going to stay at Noel Manor for more then one time. It ended up being an 8 minutes walk from the best beach in West Bay, with the variety of having an AMAZING view on the ocean front, with breeze and some quiet from the more crowded touristic area. Very wonderful hosts, John and Barbara were the best and we decided to stay at Noel Manor for the rest of our stay (5 nights) !!!
They were so friendly, accommodating and fun to be around. We even played some music with them :)
If so you have just found paradise. There is such beauty and peace as you look out your full wall of windows from your suite or from the villa balconies. Prepare for blazing red/orange sunrises and views of cruise ships , yachts, and scuba dive boats. Noel Manor is a rare gem of the Western Caribbean. No hurricanes.
Hosts Barbara and John Noel are welcoming, helpful and willing to go the extra mile to attend to your every need. While there is no beach onsite there are several close by. Ambulatory issues? No problem , just ask for the main floor suite. Taxis and car rentals are readily available to take you shopping and sightseeing. I highly recommend the Dolphin Experience at Anthony Key. As residents (and Barbara is a realtor) they know exactly who to recommend for taxis or tourist activities saving you $ and disappointment. Elegant and new. Your friends will be envious; mine were.
Sorry for taking so long to write that review, John Manor is a very nice place, very accomodating, short walk to the beach, very clean rooms, you feel like you are at your friends place for some vacations. Well decorated with an incredible view. Barbara breakfast are so good, Sometimes John try to make breakfast but its not good as Barbara (ok I am lying, Barbara pay me big money to say that haha!). Cant wait to return, do not hesitate that place is so nice. See you soon John and Barbara you are the best in Roatan!

Staying in Roatan at Noel Manor was not an easy decision. We thought we needed a resort. Jonh and Barbra the owners took care of us from the moment we landed at the airport to the taxi that took us to our departure. The home has nice large rooms. We had a luxurious bathroom. Barbra cooks breakfast that will fill you for a full day on the beach. Walking to the beach is a not for the faint at heart, but if you can take a 10min walk and a small hill, you will be fine. Taxis are always an option. The food in Roatan is amazing and the owners will help you with all reservations and taxis needed. We will stay in this spot any time we are in Roatan and we can't wait to go again. We did not need a resort and had everything at our fingertips. Even the bar always has a cold beer or a glass of wine to offer. The view is better than any on the island. Can't wait to return to Noel Manor.
My wife and I spent a week enjoying the wonderful hospitality of John & Barbara. They are both wonderful hosts and excellent chefs adept at preparing the daily (delicious and American sized) breakfast spreads. Noel Manor is a short 10 minute walk to West Bay Beach where there are all manner of restaurants, bars, and shops. West End is a $3/person water taxi ride for even more restaurants and shopping. John & Barbara have only had their Bed & Breakfast a few years and it was designed & built with a modern California feel - think Malibu. Amazing - Cathy & Mark
