In confirming my booking for 2 nights with this hotel when asked for my details I mentioned I had a Groupon voucher, "Oh, we're not taking those anymore, you will have to apply to Groupon for your money back !" As my voucher was well in date and they had rooms available I cannot see why they could not accomodate us. The manager said he could book us in at the going rate.....but as we had already paid....A very unprofessional approach to business.

My husband had a 60th birthday party. We booked most of the rooms for the venue and the weekend. The staff were excellent, they could not be more helpful and friendly. Haley was wonderful always bobbing around. The rooms are very comfortable. The food was excellent as were the drinks. I have to give credit to Terry and his staff for a most memorable weekend.

Room Tip: Sea views are wonderful

Stayed in the hotel as part of a Groupon deal and "I couldnt care less" is what i herd the manager say as i walked away from reception after asking for some more towels and tea/Coffee for our room. Breakfast was unedible we had to eat out. Bar menu looked like it was wrote by a child and it looks like the choices in there was made by them as well. You come away and expect at least one or two things on the menu to be something that you wouldnt cook at home everything was bog standard and the one time we tryed the food the lasagne was microwaved so much that the cheese was solid and the meat was dry! I was told by a member of staff (same person who we herd talking to someone at reception about using bed sheets for table cloths for a wedding!!!!!!!!!!!!) the the hotel is up for sale and all i can say is stay away untill new owners are found.

i stayed at the manor for a family wedding and have nothing but praise for all of the staff. The whole experience was faultless .The weather was chilly and when you have arranged an ice cream van as a surprise the hotel were only too pleased to welcome all of us indoors to eat them,
even though the venue was in the local hall.
If you ever wish to have a celebration by the sea stay at the manor and you will be not be disappointed, thank-you.

Room Tip: most rooms have sea views.room23,24,9 are beautiful

We have been past this hotel for a number of years & have always said we should stop there sometime, well we just have & after reading some reviews on here i was'nt to sure what to expect.
When we arrived they was busy but still had time for us, so we found our room & it was a very clean room the bed was made very well & the bathroom was also to a very high standard as well & trust me i would say if it was'nt.
Our evening meal was as much as i could eat, plus it was nice and hot.
The only down side was maybe the breakfast as where we sat was a little dark & we could'nt see the sea.
Service through out our stay has been top class.
Can't see any reason why we won't be going back again.

Had a very pleasant week-end break in the Manor Hotel. In spite of the recent problems, we had an enjoyable stay. Rooms are clean and recently renovated, and the radiators nice and hot. Staff are friendly, and the food tasty and hot. It makes a change to get breakfast on heated plates, so that the food keeps hot through the meal. Nice comfortable residents lounge with books, games etc.
Try it and see for yourself.

Arrived at hotel, book in simple, rooms were ready and very clean, staff polite and very friendly. My friends booked the hotel for a weekend break with us unfortunately I could only stay the one night, I've recently had some health problems and needed to retun home the next day. My friends arranged an upgrade of room for us with the manager. The room was large and had a beautiful seaview.

Hotel was on the beach, we had a great time a bit of fun and relaxation.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea, view.
