“Pretty good Italian ”
Reviewed 10 July 2014 via mobile

4 of us had a meal here on our first night in Barbados. We were looking for somewhere in 1st and 2nd area when the heavens opened and as we were right outside decided this would do. This turned out to be a good decision. The service was good and the food fairly prompt. We all had something different from the special (mahi mahi), meatballs, tuna salad and chicken pasta and all were very good. Have since had 3 take away pizzas from here and they were also excellent. Only slight issue was it is not particularly cheap at about 300 B$ but this seems about par for Holetown. On the whole recommended.

“Like being served by grumpy teenagers”
Reviewed 30 June 2014 via mobile

Service so bad, my partner and I started inventing possible back stories to explain what was happening. We had to ask to be offered wine, both when we arrived and with our main. When we said yes to parmesan with our food, the lady wandered off, seemingly having forgotten about us and we could see her on the phone while we waited. She then left the restaurant. We had to ask another waiter, who then just came and silently dumped it on our food without asking how much we would like. The pasta was OK, but my girlfriend makes better, and also asks me how much cheese I want. She also buys better wine. When we asked for the bill, we had to wait 15 minutes for it, as they had got the order wrong for another table and were busy correcting it. One waitress seemed smiling and attentive, unfortunately she was looking after tables other than ours. Neither the food or the wine were good enough to compensate for the terrible service; I can honestly say the taxi drive home was more hospitable.

“Great value, good simple Italian food”
Reviewed 27 June 2014

Great pasta and pizza at very good prices. We tried two of the three restaurants, Sugar Hill and the beachside restaurant. They offered very different locations with consistent service and menus.

“Good Italian food served with Bajan cheerfulness”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

This is a little gem of a place in the centre of Holetown. We shared a main course of grilled jumbo shrimps to start with which were very good. For mains it was pizza and pasta. The pizza was excellent and could well have been baked in a traditional wood fired oven. The pizza had a crispy crust and was evenly fired on the base. The pasta was "Al Picante" but perhaps slightly over cooked but tasted good nevertheless. Two courses each, two cocktails, a glass of wine and a beer came to $BD184 including tip which was a little over £50. We thought it was good value. Worth a try.

cream in the Tiramisu was off and so we sent it ack. They did offer to deduct it from our bill but forgot to also deduct it from the tip. However we couldnt be bothered to say anything but the pasta was excellent. It was a shame. maybe will try again on next visit.
