Excellent personal level of service. Sushi was the best we've ever had, wayyyyyyy better than nobu!! Foods to suit everyone! Whether it's oriental, pasta, burgers or an English pie and chips!! Reasonably priced too! Can't wait to return..

This is a must go to restaurant, on par with any other restaurant on the Island and the best Sushi that we have ever eaten.

Has a fantastic cocktail menu for pre dinner drinks and the soft shell cram maki was amazing. The girls had prawn green curry and we worked our way through the sushi bar.

A must go to restaurant when in Barbados and thanks to Steve and Petals for a super evening and some great cocktails.

The food is superb. We spent a lovely evening in the air conditioned area of the restaurant. The owners both came to chat to us on several occasions and told our children if they didn't like what they ordered we wouldn't be charged for that item. They loved it. The desserts where also fantastic especially the apple crumble. I wish this restaurant was in the UK so we could go regularly. I can't comment on the cost as I didn't pay the bill, but the menu prices didn't look exorbitant. LOVED IT!!!

My wife treated me to a birthday dinner at Nishi. We were seated upstairs at a two seater table , which gave us good access to wait staff , etc, but enough privacy for an intimate conversation. The atmosphere was good, and the staff was pleasant, attentive and professional. The cocktails were well prepared, and the food was well presented and overall service was prompt. We did have one issue, which was dealt with and quickly rectified by our experienced waiter. Note that for their sushi rolls , they offer both a seaweed or soya wrap. We had ordered the seaweed wrap, and unfortunately the soya wrap was used. Once we brought this to his attention he was very apologetic, and fresh orders were completed , and served quite quickly, and at no time did we feel annoyed, as the situation was dealt with efficiently and with no fuss. For seafood lovers I highly recommend the Lobster maki roll, as you not only get lobster in the roll, but also a tempura lobster tail. The best of both worlds. Delicious.!! The night was capped of with a delightful sparkler in my dessert, and a pleasant happy birthday chorus. We will definitely be visiting again.

Friendly and professional staff....food very good but I was not expecting to find in the menù traditional Italian recepies !! It is suppose to be Japanise restaurant but there is very little Japan and a lot from the world....but it was a very nice dinner...we met the super chef and one of the owner...both very kind !! We Will go back...for sure !!

Hi Fabio, thank you for taking the time to review our restaurant, and we are glad to see you are coming back. I agree that the name Nishi does imply a Japanese experience , and we do offer a large range of rolls, nigiri etc. But we are aware that many families have one or two members that do not like sushi, so try to offer an option for everybody.
Hence our tag line
'SUSHI AND MUCH MUCH MORE'
As I said above we look forward to welcoming you back soon.
Best Steve Prebble (OWNER)
