I was a bit apprehensive about booking this hotel as I knew it was an "older style" property but I needn't have worried. The room was large, freshly painted and tiled throughout. The kitchen area was very well equipped and the shower had a good pressure. The hotel is also right on the beach and every room has a seaview. The location was fantastic - right in the middle of Holetown and with loads of restaurants within easy walking distance and right opposite an excellent supermarket. The new Limegrove shopping centre was also just up the road. The next door restaurant Zaccios is great for happy hour cocktails at sunset and eating in the evening especially if you get a beachside table. The only downside is that the hotel doesn't have much of a beach frontage with the result that there is a scramble for the sunbeds in the morning. The alternative is to pay for beds in front of Zaccios which we did - although they are pricey at US $25. Also have your shower early because the hot water is only tepid after dark.

Spotlessly clean with good facilities for self catering. All rooms have sea view and within easy walking distance of restaurants, supermarket, shops, bank & bus stop. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Will certainly return as most guests do.

We stayed for two nights prior to a cruise in January, 2012. The location was good, beach a nice walking beach. When we checked in late at night, the security guard let us in right away. He recommended we didn't walk on the beach at night for safety reasons. The room was basic, clean, nice balcony. The safe had to have an electronic piece added onto it in order to use it, this cost extra. I will say the people at the front desk were kind and helpful. The parking lot is terribly cramped, at times people in cars sitting immobile waiting for someone to move so they could park. The taxi driver called by the hotel was the best- ask for Murray, you'll love him. He's quite the character. For our purposes this fit the bill, but I would not want to stay longer than the two nights we stayed.
