My husband and I stayed here while in Blair Atholl for an event at Blair Castle. Were so happy to find a B&B with ground floor accommodation as I am disabled. The room was cosy and warm with all we could possibly need. The guest lounge - complete with a constantly stoked wood-burner - was so comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to perfection. Best of all - the hosts are two of the nicest and warmest people you could hope to meet. We highly recommend The Firs Guest House!

This was a lovely place to stay for a relaxing weekend getaway. The bedrooms are decorated beautifully and there is also a large lounge area which is really cosy and great for socialising. The owners are extremely welcoming and will go out of their way to make your feel at home, offering some great advice on the local area. There is a pub no more than 5 minutes walk away from the house which came in quite handy! A big bonus for me was the excellent vegetarian cooked breakfast including vegetarian haggis which was a real treat. Can't recommend this place enough!

Less than 5 minutes from A9 near the centre of Blair Atholl is a little oasis of a B&B. VERY quiet, warm, comfortable bed, (smallish) but adequate shower room & one of the best b&b breakfasts ever.
We arrived a little later than we would have liked but were made most welcome & our room was exceptionally cosy - so much so that we didn't even visit the lounge!
We were the only guests that night so perhaps we had a little more attention than normally possible but we became very aware that this is an establishment that really looks after its guests.
If the need arises again for us to stop anywhere between Perth & Inverness, we'll definitely make this our overnight stay.

Room Tip: We had a room at the front. A little light from outside just penetrated the curtains but not enough to keep one awake. Not to do with the room, but ask for the smoked salmon for breakfast!

My husband, little Westie and I had a lovely stay at The Firs a few days ago.
It was comfortable and warm with the bonus of a residents lounge and welcoming wood burner.
Kirstie and Geoff looked after us so well with 5 star breakfasts.
Nothing was too much trouble including the return by post of my I-phone.
Many thanks. We hope to stay with you again soon!

Room Tip: We had the downstairs room which worked well having a dog to stay as well. Quite reasonably we put the dog in the car when we were not in the room when she was not travelling about with us.

This was our third stay at The Firs so that says something about this guest house and we also look forward to a return visit. The welcome by the hosts is very warm. The rooms are spacious and spotless with everything one might need. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfasts have plenty of choice to suit all tastes and are served in the bright conservatory at tables which are beautifully set. There is a very comfortable lounge to sit in of an evening. It is very quiet and peaceful. There is plenty to do in and around Blair Atholl and with Pitlochry close by it makes it an ideal place to stay.

Room Tip: All the rooms we have stayed in have been great.
