We were limited for time so only viewed the house which had over 30 rooms to visit. The guides were knowledgeable and very friendly. For a 'castle' it had a wonderfully grand but homely feel with displays detailing the history of all of the Dukes of Atholl, their families and the development of this magnificent building and lands.

We went as a family with our two grandchildren (5 & 8). From the outside it looks like a fairy princess castle. It looks beautiful. Once inside we were given an "eye spy" package for the 5 year old and a Question & Answer sheet to fill in for the 8 year old.
As we went in each room some had Q & A's some did not. The children thoroughly enjoyed this activity, so did not get bored. It has been developed from medieval times, Georgian and Victorian through to new development finished in 2000. There are large grounds to explore and a deer park also pony trekking. We stayed 3 hours and had a really good time the inside of the castle is very informative with staff very knowledgeable. It was a great day out by all.

As a couple with a dog and a motorhome, we did not go inside the castle and only paid for the gardens.
The guide at the pay booth is friendly, happy and loves his job.
The car park is spacious - motorhomers use the top right car park area (next to the coaches) as easier to turn.
We spent around 3hours walking, looking and taking photos.
The walled garden has a great walkway, pond, displays and cute duck houses.
Plenty of red squirrels climbing the tallest trees in Diana’s Grove.
We saw and heard the piper - terrific sound.
All in all we had a great time.

The walled garden is very nice to look around especially if you have good weather.
The castle itself was good and there were guides dotted around to give you information.

The restaurant was fine and the prices average for this sort of attraction.

The castle and premises are well maintained and beautiful . Staff is very professional and helpful. There is a good cafe in the castle.
Fun for the kids with assignment to find clues in the castle to answer questionnaire/quiz.
