We went on a 2 day safari to Yala and Udawalawe with Sanjaya and it was easily the highlight of our holiday. Sanjaya was really friendly and knowledgable, telling us all sorts of interesting stuff not just about the wildlife but about everyday life in Sri Lanka too. He went out of his way to make sure we saw everything possible, even taking us on an extra early morning trip round Yala to try and track down a leopard when we couldn't find any the previous day!
The trip was very good value, especially considering we had the jeep to ourselves and we really enjoyed the 'extras' Sanjaya added in (stopping to try King Coconuts, mangosteens and sugar crocodiles (all of which were delicious!) from roadside vendors and detouring to Dondra to see the lighthouse on our way home).
We enjoyed the trip so much we booked another day trip with Sanjaya to see the Sinharaja rainforest, this too was a great day and despite getting absolutely soaking wet in the middle of the dry season (I guess the clue is in the name 'rainforest'!) we really enjoyed it, as well as the extra trip Sanjaya added to visit a snake doctor (including a chance to hold pythons and tree snakes) and the great restaurant we went to in Mirissa for dinner after the trip. I should also mention how helpful Christine was - not only in managing to fit us in at the last minute for the rainforest trip but in answering all my questions before our visit!
All in in all a fantastic experience and very highly recommended - lovely friendly people, highly knowledgable and great fun! Thank you Christine & Sanjaya :-)

We went for a daysafari to Uddawalawa with Sanjaya and had a great day. We could not have had a better guide, he did everything to point out flora and fauna of interest, always with a big smile. He is very knowledgeable, superfriendly, very honest and caring and we had transport and jeep all to our selves which was a very good deal for that price. On the way back he wanted us to try some locally prepared corn so we stopped at a very small local place. Awesome! We can really recommend this genuine guy who knows service inside out and he will do everything to make sure you have a great trip!

We had an amazing 2 days with Sanjaya and his distinctive yellow jeep and really appreciated being taken to "off the beaten track" places in the national parks so we were away from all the other vehicles. His incredibly sharp eyes spotted a huge number of different animals, birds and reptiles and standing up in the back of the jeep we felt part of the whole beautiful countryside. He has a great sense of humour and it was really interesting to learn about what life is like for locals in Sri Lanka.

We found both Sanjaya and Christine incredibly helpful, which extended beyond our time on their safari. When we needed some assistance with a problem later on our holiday, they went out of their way to help us and offer advice on dealing with the situation. We can't thank them enough, they truly care.

We can wholeheartedly recommend booking a safari with Lanka Tracker...easy to deal with, efficient, knowledgeable and a whole heap of fun.

Fantastic 2 day Safari with Sanjaya, both his wife Christine went out of their way to make our trip special, nothing was too much trouble, excellent hotel was booked by them. Sanjaya's knowledge of the Sri Lankan wildlife is second to none. Personal service from start to finish, when we go back to Sri Lanka we will be booking again. Thank you Sanjaya and Christine.

Sanjaya's trip is first rate. He is full of information, great at spotting wildlife and gives excellent value on his safaris. We went to udawalawe national park and saw so much - lots of elephants, water buffalo, crocodiles, monitors, large squirrel, heaps of birds including a couple of rare ones and wild cats (very rare to see). Tips for your journey - a hat that won't blow off, sunglasses/glasses to keep the bugs out of your eyes, sunblock and don't drink too much because there are no toilet stops from park entry until you arrive back at your accomodation (6 hours later)!!
