I visited Salsamenteria twice during my recent stay in nearby Lido di Spina, after seeing the reviews on TA. It's got a pretty limited menu, but what they do, they do REALLY well. We took the gnocco fritto and salumi, and then I had the carbonara with fish which was delicious. There's some outdoor bench seating for when it's hot, but there's also ample seating inside. It's reasonably priced for the quality: we paid around 50 euros for 2 portions of gnocco fritto and salumi (11 euros each), the carbonara (11 euros), a plate of cheese, half a litre of white wine, a medium beer, and a bottle of water.
