This is almost like a resort. You arrive at the main reception and then suddenly taken to your rooms which are almost colonial like apartments built on a hill. It is highly exclusive and when you get to the apartment, the 'wow's don't end there. We opened our front door and walked into the open planned diner, kitchen and living space, all neatly and classily decorated with dark wood flooring and kitchen units to match. This was all brightened up with white walls and the beautiful paintings on the wall. Moving across the dining room we opened the french doors to be almost stunned at the view. There was nothing in our midst apart from sea! This is all it is. Sea and coastline. What a fantastic view! You are literally on a cliff edge. The only way you would be closer to the see or have a better sea view, is if you were in it! The balcony was big enough for table and chairs and washing. Breakfast was a real romantic affair when you are sitting on your balcony on a cliff edge. Some top restaurants in the world could not compete with this!

The rest of the apartment was spotless and just as tastefully designed. Solid shutters ensured you were not early awoken and kept the place cool. The aircon was also in every room and worked so well you could keep milk on the counter all night if you wanted!

Great place and would stay there again in a heartbeat. Contact me if you wish to know more.

Loved it! It was our first stay here and we arrived a little early, tired and frazzled after a very early morning flight from UK. The reception staff were really accommodating and got us into our apartment fast. We were three female family members and had booked a two bedroom apartment with extra sleeping space on a sofa bed. Being family we didn't need this, but at least one extra person could have been easily accommodated.

The apartment was very clean and perfectly well equipped for the sort of catering we were intending (snacks and breakfasts), but simple meals could certainly be prepared if you like to eat in.

There is no need though, as there are two restaurants located at the entrance to the complex, and one within it. The small shop and cafe located at the entrance were also appreciated for a great cup of coffee or any immediate shopping needs. We also found a local supermarket and restaurant nearby in the local community.

Our apartment had two definitely differing moods. We had chosen one with a sea view and were not to be disappointed. The view is wonderful and that side of the apartment is really tranquil and calming and perfect for early morning coffee or tea drinking as well as being a sun-trap for the remainder of the day for those who like to sunbathe.

On the other side of the apartment (the bedroom side) the mood is quite different. The rooms look down onto a village-like setting complete with cobbled street and, like any village, this is a little noisier as everyone goes about their business. On this side you'll find the pool, bar, a restaurant and conferencing facilities.

The staff are amazing. Every one is friendly and helpful, and special kudos to a member of the night staff who, when we were having difficulty starting up our AC, rushed up the steep hill to us and arrived minutes later, completely breathless, to help us.

Lots of reviewers have said that, due to its location, a car is necessary, and it's true that this complex is a little off the beaten track, but I think that if you added up all of the costs of hiring a car, you could be just as happy here (and just as cheap) using public transport and taxis. Public transport is limited, but a bus does stop here several times a day and although we did not investigate it, there is also a tram service. I also felt that I could have travelled here alone and just enjoyed a few days' peace and quiet without ever leaving.

Any annoyances? Of course, but this will happen with any holiday accommodation and my niggles won't be yours. For me it was that, being older, I sometimes would have appreciated a better facility for getting up what is a very steep hill. But the clue is in the name, so if you do have mobility issues, you might like to check ahead as to what help will be available for you, especially at later hours of the day.

Would I go back? Oh most definitely, and I would always ask for that sea view!

Room Tip: Go for the sea view. Be cautious about where you are accommodated if you have mobility issues.

Had a fantastic time here at my friends wedding , great hospitality and food and great host Sebastien. !
Very relaxed atmosphere and a very picturesque location.
If you are planning a quiet break it's the perfect location.
My friend got married and had the service within the resort and they are very well catered for it and have a beautiful setting for the ceremony and room for the reception, the whole event was very well organised and obviously take their customers very seriously.
I highly recommend for either a nice relaxing break and for a wedding or event reception!

Just back from a four night stay at the Pueblo Acantilado Suites - and wow! were we impressed!!Picturesque spotless peaceful resort tucked into the side of a mountain. Three of us spent 4 wonderful days/nights in this resort. The peace and quiet is so refreshing .... honestly! We came back from a night out in Alicante and we just stood at the bottom of the hill and listened..... to nothing! Wonderful!!The room we were in was spectacular with views to die for!! The furniture was modern and clean. The kitchen was perfect. The beds were sooooo comfortable - only the views could encourage us to get out of the beds in the morning. Ample restaurants to eat it - Small shop with all the little bits and pieces you might need. Reception staff who have to be mentioned and thanked are Monica & Martha! So professional and helpful beyond their call of duty - an absolute pleasure to have met these girls. Then there is Sebastian! Sebastian seems to have mastered 'bi-location'. He is everywhere 24/7. If he is not welcoming new guests, he is serving in the shop or pouring cocktails at 2am!! I wonder does he every sleep? His wonderful good humour and eagerness to help made our group feel instantly relaxed and we looked forward to interacting with him every day. Keep up the good work Sebastian! Martha & Monica - keep smiling! We will definately be back and will be recommending your resort to 'friends' 'families' 'couples'... you guys have absolutely nailed that 'little piece of heaven'. Thank your Pueblo Acantilado

Room Tip: Look for room with a sea view if you can - we took taxi into Alicante so can work out expensive... c...

A truly fantastic holiday. Beautiful views all around. Apartments clean, modern and well equipped with everything you need!! The staff so helpful and understood English very well. The Restaurante Italiano Chiesa, served the most wonderful tasting meals. The bar near the swimming pool opens midday (during June), lovely staff and also enjoyed our lunches there. Plenty of sunbeds round the swimming pool. It felt like a little holiday village, so nice and it was very clean where ever you went. The little shop was a bit expensive. Sebastian who served the customers in the little shop and the Cafeteria The White Coffee Shop, made everybody laugh and he was a true entertainer!! The reception staff also so helpful and assisted with everything we asked for. Many thanks to all the staff at Pueblo Acantilado Suites for a brilliant holiday and we would love to go back!!!!

Room Tip: Our studio was at the back of the swimming pool area which was very peaceful

This is a really great place to stay , built like a traditional Spanish pueblo with cobbled streets and buildings painted in pastel colours set among mature trees. Very relaxing with good choice of places to eat that did good value meals as well as a la carte.Staff at reception were also very pleasant and helpful especially Juan Carlos whose customer service was exceptional. You will need a car to explore the area properly as the complex is set in a residentional area though the bus service does call on weekdays. I f you want a place with a difference stay here you will not be disappointed..

Room Tip: Go for room 214 on the top with great views across the sea , has two balconies and catches the sun m...
