Morella itself is a beautiful medieval village, already high up in the hills. The castle itself is a magnificent ruin, perched right at the top and well worth the steep exploratory walk to the top. Take your camera, and also don't miss the stunning church below. Worth spending at least a couple of days here, it really is something special.

Morella is a medieval town about 180 km north of the city of Valencia in Spain. A grand castle emerges in front of you when you approach a few miles .. something magnificent, and I think quite rare, being built on a mountain of stone .. I wonder how they could at the time and then technology into building it. As soon as you approach Morella, you will be impressed by the massive walls and imposing towers that protect the city. Morella Castle sits atop lofty hill. It is an unforgettable sight. We spent a few days in Valencia and I decided to see something different surroundings regret.Va not advise, if you have the opportunity to be in the area, do not miss this place. You can visit on foot, and the road is hard, tedious, is to climb the slopes and steps about 2 hours

It is not the unique of Morella, but one of the best things to see. Look also to streets, shops, wall around the city
