A pretty good alternative to some of the nonsense served up in Bondi. Service and food both solid, a good list of cocktails and premium spirits. Rockin' music with the occasional in house DJ. Will be back to sample more of the menu and watch eclectic Bondi pass by.

The food and atmosphere was OK for the price. Disappointing thing was the waiters refusing to split the bill (payment with different credit cards), forcing us to take care of the splitting among ourselves. In all my travels and meals around the world I've never seen something so ridiculous. They didn't seem to care or sympathize at all when we complained about it, which made it all the more annoying.

The food is of above average taste and creativity while prices are average. What spoilt the experience was the waiter telling us that they won't split the bill (and more
than the fact was the insolent attitude: what waiter tells his clients to their face that he can't please everybody?)

My husband and I were at Bondi for the day for some sun and relaxation. After some hours on the sand, we wanted a nice place to sit and have some lunch and a drink. As we walked along the sidewalk, most of the restaurants were overcrowded, loud and pricey. Then we came upon 34 Degrees. The atmosphere was what immediately attracted us - slower, easier - and the sign that advertised pitchers of Sangria for 20 dollars drew us in. The sangria was delicious - fruity and cold - and paired very well with the mixed grill and salad (also fresh, yummy, and wonderfully price at 20 dollars). The manager was very attentive, moving from table to table to ensure the satisfaction of each customer. We dawdled for 2 hours, sipping and people watching and relaxing. Definitely recommend it!

I've been to 34 Degree South a few times now and it's been fantastic on every occasion. Great friendly, professional service. Great ambiance. Very good menu and wine list. And, most importantly, the food has always exceeded expectations. Living about 200m away makes it a fine second dining room.

Today I had the Orrecchiete and my wife had the Fish of the Day.

Absolutely outstanding.
