Firstly the location was quite terrible. The neighborhood does not seem to be safe at all. We had quite an outdated room, not so clean either. The safe wasn't working so they gave us a different room. The second room was better. Cleaner and a bit more modern. However, a school trip of really noisy teenagers was occupying the whole floor and kept us awake every night. I had to go out of the room in my pyjamas on several occasions to try to keep them quiet. It did not help of course. We complained at the reception and after that things got a bit more under control.... The staff was ok. At least some of them, some were quite rude though. I guess it was quite unfortunate with the school trip, however I think they should have put other guests away from them. Breakfast was nice, especially the coffee. I wouldn't book room here again.

Street parking very unsafe neighborhood. I saw a car with its window smashed in front of the hotel. Bathroom and room dated from 1600, very bad condition. Thin walls and old carpet. Homeless people and pee smell everywhere on the street. Walking distance to the Grand Place and Royal Palace but I didn't feel safe at all.
Breakfast saved our stay with a nice cup of cappuccino and a delicious bread with raisins. I would never recommend this hotel for anyone. It was a last minute booking to see the Flower Carpet and Atomium and the pictures and comments fooled me.

the price was ok , but the pictures on the website are embellished , i didnt see no decorations in the room , everything is clean, lot of traffic in the street in the morning and you can't use any airco, but i was with two friends and we had fun without spending too much money.

It's a lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable. Doesn't look like much from the outside but its actually really nice inside. Had a nice room with a big double bed and a big bathroom with a bath tub. Breakfast was great, lots of options and very tasty. However there is no free wifi and its 5Euros for 24 hours, which is quite expensive but there is nowhere near with free wifi. The only downside is that, although its only about 20 minutes walk from town centre, it located in not one of the nicest areas, not much to do around either or nice places to eat. They do have a small restaurant on site, however it didn't seem to offer much variety and slightly expensive.
The staff were really nice

helpful staff, good rooms, location for midi station leaves to be desired. but the price is right, has a restaurant that is a bit pricey. not much in the way of eateries. only a 10 minute get you to a shopping street with many restaurants. youll need a cab to get to midi station.

We stayed for 2 nights in late June 2014. We had 3 triple rooms, ideal for a group of friends. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was included in our rate and was what you expect on the continent! No egg and bacon here!
We were able to park our people carrier in the basement for a small charge.
The area is a bit scary at night but we had no issues, even went in a local bar on the way back and were made welcome.
The centre with sights bars and restaurants is a short walk away.
This hotel was a good base for our trip and would recommend it as such.
