A surprisingly good apartment in Brussels for a relatively reasonable price. The bedroom and bathroom was very clean and services were good. The the only complaint would be that kitchen utensils were not immediately provided, had to ask at reception. The hotel is directly in front of a tram line, and not far from the metro. In the area there is a big muslim population which is great for those wanting halal food, the shops are fairly cheap in this area too. There is a red light district nearby that we accidentally stumbled across, however, it did not effect our stay and can easily be avoided.

a great place to stay if you are managing your budget and want a reasonable standard of accomodation- nice modernish studio apartments - bed / kitchen diner area and bathroom, cable tv and free wi fi . V close to Gare du nord station - 5 mins walk - main tram line outside hotel - on main road that leads down to Botanique metro line (10 mins saunter.) Area is middle eastern quarter - so not much of a dining experience unless you like kebabs.

Close to the tram line 93 that takes you to the metro, ideal for wandering the city. The appartement was simply tooooo good. I even had a patio! It's unfortunate that I don't go to Brussels more, because I would absolutely stay here again!

I chose to stay here in order to be close to the train station. The actual room/appartment was good, clean and spacious. The receptionist was helpful. What really lets this place down though is the area and the area around the station and this is why I am unable to give the hotel a better rating. The road running alongside the station (and the one you must walk along if you wish to go to the hotel by foot) is full of shop windows featuring almost naked women licking their fingers, slapping their bottoms and doing everything they can to entice the rather sleazy middle aged and young men passing who slow down to take a good look! I think I may have stood in their dribble a few times on the way. Once getting past this, the next street leading to the hotel is like being in the Middle East - which is fine but it has a dodgy feel to it and I did see a rather scared looking Muslim lady looking as if she was about to be hit by some man and a large crowd standing round watching! This may just be coincidence and not an every day occurrence. The area by the station is also frequented by beggars and the whole area does not feel safe - and this is coming from my point of view as a man. I was approached by a man by the station who I think May have wanted to rob me but I escaped as quickly as I could. If you need to stay here, I highly recommend getting a taxi from the station. I wouldn't recommend this area for women.

I stayed for three weeks while working in Brussels. I took a studio option with a small kitchen.

Everything was fine, and it was cheaper than most of the alternatives in Brussels.

The location's a bit dodgy, it's not the heart of the red light district but it's close enough. It seems to be a mostly turkish area so there are plenty of fast food options and a vibrancy that's not found elsewhere. The hotel is half-way up a pretty steep hill and is a 10-minute walk from the metro or the gare du nord.
The room itself was nice enough, the bedroom was clean and the bed was fine. The bathroom was clean but a little wear and tear has set in, and the showerhead is mounted in such a way that it is impossible not to spray water all over. The kitchen consists of a sink, 2 hobs and a kettle so I expect culinary masterpieces are out of the question.
There are a few small things like the lack of a laundry - a laundrette is just down the street, considerably cheaper but inconvenient.
There's no kitchenwear when you arrive, has to be requested from reception.
Overall:
I liked the place but not enough to go back, and am glad to have left. I guess that says it all.

Well what can I say.
Stayed here for 3 nights during February 2013.
Not what I was expecting at all. NO parking facikities - except on main street 2 euros per hour maximum of 2 hours only. NOT a very nice area - very male orientated. Apartment very big but lacked comfort and freshness. checked with guy on reception that we had a NON smoking room was told ALL rooms were none smoking. I found cigarette ash in the living area - testamant that the cleaning was not all it cracked up to be! Room was quite smelly with nicotine and the butts had been thrown from the window onto the flat room at the rear of the hotel.

Internet VERY slow and you would sometimes loose connection - guy on reception who did not speak much English had no suggestions as to what was wrong with it! Damp and mould by the windows - watch out for that if your are asthmatic! Kitchen did not have ANY cooking utensils, bowls, cutlery at all. I was staying at this hotel on my own during the day and did not feel safe at all. I was glad to check out. Lamp in bedroom did not work.
