“Great place to stay”
Reviewed 15 August 2014

hotel had beautiful botanical areas in the hotel, I suppose it's in the name. The staff were quite nice and direct with you if you were nice to them. The staff didn't speak too good English. the room was lovely and clean, spacious, comfortable and the minibar was filled every day. All entertainment was great in the amphitheatre (grand arena 1) There is plenty of attractions for guests of all ages and all around a great experience. I recommend this hotel especially for families and couples. For couples staying in the platinum botanic is the best, especially honeymooners.

Room Tip: "as the complex is large rooms near the reception and restaurant are much better"

We stayed for 7 days and had 6 rooms. They put us in the new wing (the Botanic Platinum).
I am not sure if they plan to run this as two separate hotels or just charge a premium for the rooms in the new wing.
The staff was very welcoming and Ali the bell boy was great.
The breakfast is great, the staff live to serve and do a great job at it.
As the hotel got more busy (toward the weekend) it was clear they are still in opening mode as somethings did not work so well.
The spa was amazing. My wife an I did the VIP treatment and it was great.
The beach is nice although not sandy (all this area is the same).
There is a medium size bazaar within 10-15 walking distance that has everything you need in a Turkish Bazaar.
We also took the free day shuttle to Alanya and this was great, we took a 1 hour boat ride around to see the caves and then took a taxi up to see the Castle.
We ate one night at the Greek restaurant. The food was great. The service not so much. They had one waiter for all 8 tables and he did not speak a word of English. Our orders of Diet Pepsi with ice came as Rum and coke and the kids drinks also got messed up. but it was a nice experience altogether.
The only problem we experience was a combination of room location and lack of AC.
When we stayed the days where hot but nights still chilly. They did not have the AC on yet as they can have cooling OR heating not both. So the room got very hot during the day and was nice during the night. Since our room faced the main highway we could not leave the balcony door open during the afternoon without hearing trucks honks and horns.
We were offered to move to a room with sea view for an additional $20 a night but the only room they had was not at the same floor with the rest of or family.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms facing the highway, the view is nice (mountains) but the noise (even with your balcony d...

Beautiful area around hotel, nice staff, graet variety of meals, tasty drinks, good looking rooms, maybe too much people in moth like July (we had to woke up early to have good place to rest), a lot of events for guests, amusement park for kids and many more attracions for all. I really liked this hotel and I recommend especially for couples and families :)

CHECK IN-ok,we get the room 2-3 hours before official check in time.
ROOM-small,I think about 15 square meter with the bathroom. When we came in one of the pilows had stain of blood. And mini bar wasn't full. That was solved when we called the reception.Beds was good and clean all the time.We had the safe in room.
FOOD-every day was almost same.It is ok,but after few days it is boring. There is enough amount of food,meat,fruits,vegetables,pastry,cakes...But in the restauran it wasn't enough place for everybody, sometimes wasn't enough plates for all and you must wait for your plate...
HYGIENE-that was disapoint for hotel with 5*.You can see my pictures iff you don't believe me.In main restaurant table clothes are dirty and with many wrinkles, everywhere you can find food around and juice on the tables, for me that is too much for that range of hotel.Boxes with forks, spoons and knifes was always dirty. There was many snacks, but iff you want enything you must wait because it was too many people.
POOLS-really good and clean, end enough space for all.
BEACH-small beach with not enough sun beds for all.See is lovely and warm.
WATERSLIDES-excellent and safe for children!
MINICLUB-good with good programe for kids
One thing which was really good is many threes and botanic garden and you can find many shady places.
FUNFAIR-good,but you must wait a lot.
Nobody except people on reception knows english.Just russian. And german little bit.
Sometimes (in saome nights) was terrible noisly.
Flowers on the tables was ugly and dry.
For me this is 4* hotel with hygiene of 2* hotel.
Look my pictures and you will see.

I will start by saying that Delphin Botanik was the first resort that we have been in Turkey. The resort is one of the best place for vacation with minor exceptions. I will start my review with the positive things:
1. first of all I must remark the botanical garden which attracted us from the begining. We searched for a place where we can get an oasis in the summer heat and here we got it. Lots of green and perfect climate. 5 out of 5*.
1. the acomodation was spectacular, the room size was more than enough, cleaned all the time and air conditionated perfect.
2. the main restaurant was big enough, with lots of foods and drinks (alcohol and non-alcohol) with adequated timeline for everybody. From junk food to special and fresh meat, fruits and vegetables. fresh drinks were allways available and the cocktails - spot on (my daugther loved rainbow cocktail - nonalcoholic)
3. the pools were amazing, suitable for all ages, from kids pool to adult ones, clean all the time, sometimes more than enough (some days the chlorine in the water was to much, that our bathing suite changed colour). The tubes were fantastic and spreaded all around the pools.
4. the beach area, well kept - no complain
5. the activities for kids were outstanding. Our daugther of 4 years old loved them at max.
Now is the time for some criticism:
1. we traveled by car to the hotel and we have been dissapointed by the hotel parkage. Very small for 5* hotel. we couldn't find a parking space in some days (like 20 parking spaces)
2. overall problem (not only there, but all the Turkey) employees don't understand always english and less speak it. it's a shame beeing a tourist country.
3. working in restaurant business, "a la carte" restaurant has a certain meaning. it's a place where you have a menu and you choose what you want and you are served. On Delphin Botanik this way of restaurant has a different style. For example Ottoman Restaurant (so called a la carte) is a selfserving restaurant, La Dolce Vita (italian restaurant) has a menu, but the waiter brings you what he wants. the fish restaurant is a combination between the two of them - first course - selfservice, second course - a la carte. at this freestyle restaurants I have to add the sistem of reservation which is very complicated and annoying.
4. As I said the activities were amazing, especially for the kids. my daugther, even though she doesn't speak english or other international language, she understood the games and she had lots of fun. The shows were ok, but not soo impressive like I read about them in the past years. The really unpleased thing was the Luna Park which was opened only for 2 hours, not enough time for people to have fun.
If you pass over the minor challanges and you take in consideration the All-inclusive sistem of the hotel I can say you can have an amazing expericence. for me it's a place to go back!!!

Room Tip: ask for the last floor - less noise from the activities. the A/C works the same everywhere - perfect...

Delphin Botanik is a good option for families with kids. It has good kids entertainment: miniclub, excellent water sliders, suitable pools (and many of them)!
On the other side there are few things that were not so nice for us adults: no bathrobe, no slippers ( on 5* one expects this as a standard...). We paid for a room with sea view... well, the room was facing the restaurant and it was noisy, from cutlery smashing to very loud music in the evening until about 12 midnight. It was too loud and too late in the night for my taste - definitelly not my kind ( too much Lambada and Bamba style...).
The room was small, but nicely furnished, nice and well maintained furniture.
Food is absolutely great best we had so far in from all the resorts we've been at, good taste (fresh fish, variety of salads, good grills, fruits) you can find whatever you want from junk to healthy. There was all the time
something nice to taste between the meals.
What I disliked as well was the fact that the transfer takes like 2 hours. It's far away from the airport in Antalya.
The sea is beautiful, but the beach is full of stones, no fine sand. You definitelly need special shoes. The sea is also deep and not exactly suitable for kids, specially for the ones that do not know how to swim. The sea was too deep right from the shore and big waves were also present. The whole beach was somehow rough and not well arranged in terms of investment.
Internet connectivity was bad, we were not able to connect most of the times, much to weak, only in the lobby and by the pool.
There were restaurants that we could choose for dinner, but you need to use a special device by the reception to reserve, and by 10.00 am all the restaurants were booked... You can only make reservation for the current day and only from 9.00 to 17.00 each day. Totally not confortable!
For service, this was one of the best we've had in Turkey. Smiling waiters allover, nice and helpful, quick as well. There was very clean allover, people were cleaning all the time! Room was cleaned every day, good clima system.
Alltogether, I can say that it was a nice vacation, especially for our kid, which was actually the reason we went to Turkey!

Room Tip: I think the best rooms are in the main building and in the restaurant building.

We are glad to know that you enjoyed our weather, service and above all our dailly facilities. You mentioned about the booking system off our A la carte restaurants, we follow this way just to be fair to all guests, thisa is the only reason.

.I was there with my family and enjoyed a lot of fun. Very nice and friendly staff. Very good cocktails: D Super waves! : D Super animation team and daily animation program. Excellent food. But I missed here disco. It should be in a nightclub, but when disco will outside with better songs, I think, that people enjoy definitely more fun. But otherwise it was perfect. Thank you very much.
Sorry for my English :))
