My family of four ( 2 adults, 2 children 11,8) have just returned from 10 nights here. We've had one of the best holidays ever. Firstly ,upon entering the hotel you will be blown away by how stunning and luxurious it is . The reception staff were friendly and efficient. The rooms and throughout the hotel were spotless. Bedding and towels changed on a daily basis , also you can have beach/ pool towels changed daily too. The barmen and waiter staff are so hard working . You can have as many drinks as you want each time - so if there are ten of you - you aren't restricted to just one drink per customer approaching the bar ! We found the drink measures to be generous and not watered down - as I have read in other reviews. The sheer variety of food is amazing too. Even the fussiest of eaters wouldn't go without . There are numerous snack bars throughout the complex - which served lovely food throughout the day , and at specific times they cook snacks such as fresh pancakes, doughnuts , jacket potatoes , toasties ,hot dogs and waffles. The entertainment staff are hard working - from morning right through till the early hours - but don't pester you to join in if you aren't interested. There is a spa that offers lots of treatments and a hairdressers etc. The journey from the airport was approx an hour and 40 mins -( we paid extra for a speedy shuttle - with max 4 drop offs - ) . On the journey the driver stops off for 10 mins for a break - so you can stretch your legs/ use the loo or grab a drink at a shop.
We met loads of lovely people, and there were a few English families over there - but predominately Polish and Russians. Take some beach shoes - as the beach is pebbly - and difficult to walk on - but is well worth it , as the sea is stunning.
There is a large bazaar up the road within walking distance - with hundreds of shops . Well worth a look - as the fake designer stuff is a great quality ,and so cheap . Don't be afraid to haggle ! We cashed money out there , as the rate in ATM s was better than home - they stock Euros, dollars and Turkish lira , although we took sterling with us too - and they were happy to take that off us.
A big thank you to the fab waiter, Suleyman Nural ,in the main restaurant - he is a friendly ,hard working young man - who always looked after us , and entertained the children at the same time as being so efficient at his job xxx ( Isabel says 'Hello' !! )
We would recommend this place any day !
