The room was lovely, the hosts were welcoming, the location was peaceful and quiet. Would definitely stay here again. Loved the welcome pot of tea with home made fruitcake and the delicious breakfast.

From the first moment we arrived at Avocado Grove we felt welcomed.
When we arrived in the afternoon worn out from a day of shopping, our kind host John was keen to offer us afternoon tea on the veranda complete with his homemade fruitcake – what a lovely way to unwind and relax!
Our room was clean and well presented. Our room had several nice touches – biscuits and tea and coffee making supplies in the room, nice bodywash (rather than the horrible hotel standard body wash).
The breakfast was provided at the time of our choosing and included delicious home made muesli, yoghurt, a fruit platter, toast, tea and the cooked breakfast of our choice.
The meals are served on the lovely rear-veranda which has a great view and is wonderfully sunny and light.
The hosts John and Sonia really made us feel like welcomed guests and went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed and had a lovely time.
Thank you John and Sonya – we will be back!

Had a lovely stay at Avocado Grove as part of a weekend in the Sunshine Hinterland. Rooms were very well equipped, really comfortable and had fantastic views from the verandah. Breakfast was delicious and the attention to detail from John and Sonya was superb. One of the most welcoming B&Bs we have ever stayed in and in a beautiful location. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Room Tip: Try to get a room with access to the verandah for the views in the morning!
