Altough it is 4 star hotel , the service is satisfied. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. But the meals especially main dishes are not stasfied. The housekeeping service is excellent. The rooms are clean. The pool and the area of the pool is alsa clean. But sea is far from the hotel , you can take a bus from the hotel every 30 minutes or you can go on foot.

My Partner and I came to this Hotel in May this year and found it to be a wonderful hotel, the staff were friendly, check-in went without any problems, and we were in our room within 5 minutes of entering the hotel. Our room was kooshty, a double bed for me and the single for my partner lol (just kidding, I had the single), we had a TV which we just left on the music channel while we were getting ready for nights out, Bathroom was all in working order and no faults a couple of funny looking stains in the toilet bowl but nothing off putting, the shower was always hot and the towels changed daily. The balcony....well we were on the first floor and as you can see from pulling up you are next to a greenhouse, well that was our view, can see over it, cant see round it, if you crank your head over the balcony you can see the mountains to the right and the ocean to the left.and if you look down you can see an open manhole!! We didn't ask to be moved but I'm sure they would have moved us without hesitation as the hotel was quite quiet.
The first 2 days we were there they we seemed to have taken the English weather with us as it was rain, thunder and lightning! it wasn't so bad a first until the power went out whilst sitting in the restaurant trying eat dinner, although the waiters did there best with the glows of their phones. The hotel has got a couple of leaks in it somewhere...the main lobby had a bucket to catch rain water and we don't know how but in the restaurant there seemed to be a massive puddle from an unknown location. After these first two days the skies brightened up and we finally saw the sun.
Foodwise, I don't think there was lot of option in the way of meat, mostly fish was the main thing and that's not what we really go for. In the end we settled on salads, rices, and pastas, with a couple of other things to spruce it up. We recommend the soup, that always went down a treat. We just wished they put more effort in to the meat dishes like they did carving the watermelons.
Pool area was wonderful, quiet and big enough for everyone to have their own space and chairs. We don't really swim but did manage to take advantage of their window underneath for some underwater shots. The pool bar was always manned and stocked, although they don't know how to make a decent shandy.
Location wise was ideal, not far from the beach although the used condom on the path leading to it was a bit off putting, but once we got to the hotels private area it was more cleaner. Their is a bus stop just outside the hotel in to town, don't let the dark underpass put you off, be warned you are expected to jump on the bus at high speeds because they do just stop in the road. Loads of lovely restaurants and night clubs in Alanya if you wanted a night out or some souviner shopping. They dont like dealing with their own currency they prefer euros, but we found if you tell them you only have lira and could buy a few things from them they will accept them gladly and even offer you a glass of tea. just be careful as one shop told us prices in Lira then when we went to pay he changed it to Euros and up the price, even thou we told him we only had lira, needless to say we walked out and left a pile on his counter!

All in all our stay at Konaktepe was an excellent part to our holiday, great staff, good location, friendly service and we even got a thank you present at the end of our trip. it was always a place to look forward to come back to after a 10 hour coach excursion packed with Russians and Eastern Europeans with no manners.

Would recommend to others!

Room Tip: Try not to get a room on the first 2 floors on the right side of the hotel. Our view consisted of on...

Our family has just returned from our two weeks holiday to the konaktepe hotel. Our children aged 7,13 and 15. The hotel in general is excellent, check in in the early hours was done with minimal fuss with no language barriers, the restaurant is spotlessly clean and waiting staff a credit. The food although a little repetitive at times is non the less excellently presented with something for every taste. The staff at the hotels pool bar work tirelessly from early till late and a big mention must go to mustapha . The pool area is well set out with plenty of sun loungers to go round with plenty going on to liven up the day, all down to the excellent animation team of Ali , ,niño and Anna the two lads work excellently together and are a breath of fresh air. Rooms spotlessly clean and comfortable. But every hotel or holiday has its draw backs , it's draw back on this occasion is the 95% of the hotels other guests , Eastern Europeans ! The majority being Russian and poles. Rude arrogant with no manners whatsoever. Thankfully there was one other English family at the hotel at the same time as us , along with a lovely Dutch family who also found it hard to come to terms with others arrogance . But the hotel is excellent if it could only have a few more Brits !

I had a great time in the hotel for 11 days this July (2013). Very recommended for families with children. The food was satisfying and in general the value for price was unexpected. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful and trying to accommodate Your needs. Everyone spoke English on sufficient level.

Room Tip: I liked the pool view.

We have recently returned form spending a week in the Konaktepe Hotel in Konakali.
The rooms are big, clean and equip with everything you need for an enjoyable stay.
The particular room we had didnt have a sea view as the Hotel advert states But it did have a balcony and chairs to sit out.
The area is a little bit remote but you can get the local bus into Alanya which is about 30 minutes drive or Konakali which is about 10 minutes on the bus or easy walking distance.
The pools are clean and the area is cleaned daily and sun beds which there are loads of are wiped down on a daily basis.
The food is okay but not much variety so gets a bit boring but beautiful salad bar with every food imaginable if you like that sort of food. Waiters I have to say border on being rude with the exception of a couple who now and again managed to crack a smile. Reception staff also bordering on rude, maybe put down to the language barrier not sure. But a smile is the same in any language.
The DJ however seems to cater for Russian,Polish and German people by subjecting everyone to the same type of music. He plays the same tunes over and over "give me hope Johanna" seems to be played on a loop. He didnt seem to have the ability of playing a track and searching at the same time lol. However he works really hard to entertain.
We stayed AI and for once this hotel doe not cut corners they give the best lager Tuborg in proper half pint glasses. Free ice cream daily with option of cakes and pastries at 4 pm.
The only down side is the fact its two hours away from the airport and the fact that our transfer driver drove like a complete lunatic on the way back to the airport. That however was not down to the hotel.
All in all I would recommend this to anyone as it was excellent value and a thoroughly enjoyable. holiday

if your from uk dont go near this hotel, the food was vile, bar staff just as bad.
the hotel is set on the middle of a motorway no where to go even for a walk,
they just dont cater for british people, bar staff realy bad attitude, the hotel seems to cater more for germans, pols and russians.
