Palmeras beach is such a hotel that you may call them an hour ago to ask about the availability and they can answer you that there is a plenty of availibility and no need to make reservation. But some how when you arrived to hotel they can answer you that it was wrong information and there is no available room in the hotel just after 1 hour of first conversation. So if you need such a funny case , wellcome to Palmeras. Especially i can advice you to meet with reservation manager who doesnt know anything about the hospitality. Good luck Palmeras , as i see you will need it a lot.

Hotel no longer called Club Insula. It's now Palmeras Beach Hotel. No one advised us before arriving and thus were unable to find the hotel in taxi and were dropped off at wrong hotel.

It also does not have same facilities as advertised.

Very nice hotel for families, our boy was 2 years old and he was happy there, playing in the pool, playground or everywhere in the hotel. Friendly staff. Their all inclusive is really all inclusive (excepting wifi - to open an email you need to wait 5 minutes). The food was tasty.
For us it was a great vacation.

We traveled as a group of 4 with 3 kids.98 % of guests are from Russian speaking countries and all service that is tailored – signs in Cyrillic, Russian speaking staff, members of an animation teams from Russian speaking countries.
if you do not know the language ( Russian) you will do very hard, because employees do not speak English (just a few word). We stayed eight days, the food was the same during whole stay. the worst food, one child did enterocolitis.
Departure only was prepared a grilled fish. (good by the way).
Pool: good and clean. You have to make a 'reservation' for a beach/pool chair(wake up at 06:00 and put your towel on a chair) otherwise you can sit on the floor.
Entertainment: Great if you speak russian:) otherwise you will miss a lot from it
Service: As I mentioned before staff is spoiled by russian tourists, rude and unprofessional.
the result is 100% we never go back there.

We booked this hotel because of several good indications which we found on the website of the travel company and the website of the hotel, like "ultimate relaxation"and "world class chef dish". As we arrived a real small room was pointed to us. The bed was horrible
and we were not able to sleep at all. Also the temperature was around 56 degrees Celcius but after 4 hours after switching on the airco it went down to 32, pffff. I felt like an boiled egg.

The hotel has an animation team which starts working at 10:00 with really really loud music and dito voice-over. The level of this noise was continuously above 95dB with peaks of 112db (the level of a jet plane flies over at 100m) and played until 01:00 in the night). We made several complaints but the management is not capable in having a normal conversation with you, so nothing changed!

You have to make a 'reservation' for a beach/pool chair(wake up at 06:00 and put your towel on a chair) otherwise you can sit on the floor. More chairs than visitors but all beds are reserved. The management is doing really nothing about this problem with a lot of angry and disappointed guests as result.

The guests of the hotel are for 98% Russians and the dish of the 'world class chefs' are
also Russian orientated, almost every time cold, and have almost no variety. If you're lucky you can maybe find a piece of meat, but only if you are lucky.
We were 'lucky' to book a table in the a-la-carte-restaurant. We really had to make a selection out of 3 menu's. The quantity was poor (a little fish and 4 pieces of pommes frites). We never saw the dessert cause it took them over 45 minutes to put some ice-cream on a horn. :-(

Cause we were really doubting if our opinion was really that bad i started a little survey under the other guests. The result were stunning: 100% told me never to go back again to this place and everybody was really happy that they could go home. I asked them how they should rate this hotel: average was 2.7 stars.

Finally no one of the travel company took responsability and we are now trying to get into contact to find a solution to this horrible experience.

If you read all my reviews you will find out that i am not someone who's complaining but this experience was really bad!!

Room Tip: Don't choose a room, find another hotel is our advise
