Had a beautiful family holiday at Bera hotel. I went with my husband and four boys 18, 16, 10 and 5. I really do think the hotel is great there is lots to do at the hotel. The swimming pools are really good separate pool for women, they also have a pool for women on the roof top. There is a mini club for the kids my sons enjoyed watching it, my youngest managed to join in with them on the last day of our stay. The food is great, they have so much variety that you don't know what to have. kind of spoilt for choice. They also serve unlimited drinks 24 hours. The best thing is that it is really safe and family friendly, all families at the hotel seemed really nice and decent. The staff didn't speak much English but they managed to communicate well enough. It was nice to meet some other families that spoke English, they were from England so ended up getting to know them well, it made the stay at bera hotel much more fun. Alanya town was really close by, it was very easy to catch the bus into town. Also Kleopatra beach was really close by and on your way to Alanya centre. The beach at the hotel wasn't ready at that time so we went to Kleopatra beach. It was really beautiful and clean. The kids had a good time there and also managed to have a good swim. The people there are very friendly and I would definitely recommend going there. I would love to go back again next year and stay at bera hotel.

This was our first family resort holiday, always refrained from holidays like this as didn't want my children to be exposed to loutish drink and western behaviour. However this was recommended to me to be suitable for Muslims wanting to experience a resort holiday in line with Islamic ethos and values. We travelled between 26/3/13 and 6/4/13 and I have to say it was a dream. The hotel is 5* and lives up to this, the hotel staff are family friendly and very well mannered and well trained. My family consisted of myself and my husband and my 5 children ranging from 17,16,14 (boys) and then my 11yr daughter and then my youngest 5yr boy. The bedrooms standard are a very generous size come with a king-size bed and a single and then we added an extra pull out for my youngest, older boys had there own standard room. Rooms cleaned daily without asking. Very safe environment for families with absolutely nothing to worry about. Lovely evening family entertainment which starts with a harmless mini disco club for children followed by a comedy/magic/karaoke act. Due to the culture soft music is played throughout the day and on the roof ladies only they may do some belly dancing. The food is plenty with lots of variety throughout the day, there is only one hour between 7am and midnight that food isn't served and the desserts are out of this world. We were told by family to take chillies and sauces however they were not needed as there was something for everyone. The facilities are excellent from the ladies indoor swimming, steam room and sauna, to the roof strictly women only swimming pool where again food and drinks are served. The men had there own exactly same indoor facilities, however the outdoor pool only opened on the last day of our stay as we had gone out of season and were aware that this may happen. The beach which is literally minutes away is absolutely lovely in the heat and the children were able to swim in the sea, but again they were updating it getting it ready for the peak season but it did not effect our time there. Turkish Bath and massages are extra again get them to bring the price down. For tours and excursions you will be offered the service via the hotel these are independent to the hotel and will charge extortionate prices you can bargain with them but they will not come down much, we went out of the hotel and on to the side streets and found a tour company Tom Bugra tours who was very reasonable but again you need to bargain with him in the end we got two days for the price of one. I would recommend visiting Manavgat waterfalls, market (very expensive buy locally much better) and the masjid in Manavgat, Jeep safari and if you have children 5 years and over quad biking is a must again Tom will sort this out. You can go to Konkali which is about 1 mile away (we used to walk) or you can get a bus run regularly for 1.5 tl about 80p.Remmember to drive a hard bargain with the locals don't' be shy they are used to it.the season starts around the twelfth of April, that is when the hotel opens the outside pools and the beach is sorted. Unfortunately because of Easter Holidays we had to book earlier, we were all very sad to leave as we really enjoyed it. , Overall a wonderful experience and can't wait to go again.

We've been at Bera hotel last year and really enjoyed it, so decided to go there one more time in this year. Again, we haven't been disappointed! We took the same type of room, family one. It was quite comfortable for our family with two kids. The food was very good. It was fantastic opportunity especially for children which loved to have fun at the beach with all family. They also loved a water park. Swimming pool for women was fabulous. There are plenty things to do for all family, table games, bowling etc We had a really good experience when booked our holiday with Crescent Tours. We loved everything about this holiday and looking forward to make it again!!

We stayed her with my wife in 2007 during our honeymoon for 3 days. It was November and few people were in hotel so we were like special guests. I heard normally in crowded season you have to go to line to get food and self-service but we did not have to do any of these. They just told us please have a seat and asked what would we like to eat, they brought us immidiately. Same for drinking in lobby. Closed pool was nice, it was cold for the pool outside and ladies pool on the terrace of the hotel. Standard room are guite big and commodious. In general nothing that discomforts us happened.

Our stay at Bera hotel could'nt have been better, Since it was our first family holiday. It was a great family holiday for Muslims!I loved the hotel. The food was so scrumptious there was also a large variety every single day.Our room were comfortable and spacious. The hotel was on the beach, they had a seprate area for Bera guest's. There was a children's swimming pool and a water park, the adults swimming pools are seperated. They aslo have a gym, sauna steam room jaccuzi and indoor swimming pools(for women and men) fab! .In the basement there was a gaming area bowling, pool, table tennis giving all the family pleanty to do. You would still need to remember to pray there was a mosqe in the hotel (lady and men}! At the night times their use to be night time activates were there would be turkish poems and songs, were the children would have a sing along and have fun dancing.Me and my family diddn't want to leave but there was no choice, it was a fab holiday. We will still remember this memorable stay and forever will!(by Laiybah aged 10).

We have planed to stay one week at Bera this year, as we were satisfied in the last two years. This year so much has changed! First thing, lobby was wet! It was raining from the top! Second thing it has also rained in our room, so they changed our room, was okay. But our first room was still in the same situation as we have left due to the rain, very dangerous because of electricity and rain, no one looked after it. Third ting, at the dinner only two service stuff were on work, no smily in the face as they tried to cleane the tables only. Fourth thing, the evening program called mini disco was not funny for childrens, more older people joined that. Fifth thing, at breakfast buffet was emptey and no stuff to fill the buffet. Sixth thing, after breakfast we decide to join the mini club, but were disappointed, as it was closed. Seventh thing, a russian hotel is opening next yeart closed to Bera, possible to see the pool directly from your room, so nothing for islamic familys! After that I have decided to left the hotel, as our son didn't felt so good there. No mony return, but forget money, if you could not relax and join your holidays. We went back to Adenya, just 10 km away from Bera. Will never go to Bera again.

Room Tip: Never join this hotel

We went on the 28 October and returned on 5 November 2012. We were 3 adults and a 17, 14, 3 yr old and an 18 month old. We were a bit apprehensive about the hotel but it was great. We had booked an all inclusive holiday and the food and facilities were were really good. The beach was walking distance from the hotel. The spa treatments were great. The 14 and 17 year old enjoyed it thoroughly and have said they would go back. It is family orientated and the two little ones enjoyed the kiddies pool and didn't want to get out! The downside is that the hotel people didn't speak English so it was a bit of a struggle with communication. It is ideal for women as the pools are seperate indoor and outdoor. The hotel Air condition was switched off but we managed. The indoor pools could have been bigger. We stayed in the family room which caters for four and it was fine.
