I stayed in Eftalia Village, my family in Eftalia Marin (sister hotels, next to each other). We had a lot of issues in both hotels. Generally the staff is not helpful, mostly rude, they hardly speak English. The rooms were ok, but nothing special. Don't leave any money out as the cleaner takes it as tip!! Although they hardly cleaned the room... The food was interesting. We had no idea what we eat as they didn't write any info next to it. If you go to eat at the end of the session be prepared that they run out of things. The swimming-pool clooses at 6pm! Etc... So definitely do not recommend it!

Me and my partner stayed here for a week in June. The hotel is a long way away from the airport which ruined our first day, because the mini bus drive took 5 hours to get there when it should have been 2.5 hours.
Once we were there we were treated very well. Drinks were offered while we waited for our room, then the bag handler took our cases and transported us to our room. We were hungry when we got there and it was 11pm so the only food on offer was soup and bread, which was ok but would have been nice to have more variety.
Food overall is not the best but its ok. There are loads of snack bars and restaurants to choose from. If you go under the tunnel to the beach it is more modern. At breakfast time you can get fresh made pancakes eggs and omelettes from the outside seating area. Desserts are not nice, but you can always find something to eat.
There is loads of bars for drinks and free ice cream during the day.
There is loads of pools and they have their own beach. Loads of slides etc so plenty of fun. There is also a quiet adult pool if you just wanna chill without the hustle n bustle.
They have their own market stalls and shops onsite- there isn't much reason to leave the hotel.
We went over the field outside the hotel and booked excursions - quad safari which was brilliant! Boat trip- lasted a bit too long. If you turn right on the main road and walk for about 10 mins there is a dolphin park and sea work. I swam with dolphins which was about £100ish. Lasted 30 mins and was a lovely experience. They also do dolphin shows. Didn't go into sea world.
If you get on the bus from the main road you can get to Alanya for 4lira. This is worth doing as there is more to do and more restaurants etc in Alanya. We went to the castle and they have a nicer beach. Came home full of mosquito bites though! If you go to alanya you will get mithered to buy everything!!! They literally try to drag you in
There is not much around the hotel but if you are willing to get on the bus then its not too bad. Taxi's are a rip off though.
We had an amazing week in Turkey, but wouldn't go back too soon simply because we wanna experience other places.
Overall this is a good hotel but not many English- we felt a little lost because everyone spoke dutch and German. We didn't even know what was going on during the boat trip because there were no English announcements.

We have just come back from Eftalia Holiday Village, after 2 weeks, It was a family holiday of 10 of us, 6 adults 4 children, we had a great time, the complex itself was brilliant, about 8 pools, some with waterslides, and even childrens waterslides, there was good entertainment, I have read reviews that put me off a bit because of it being all based on Germans, but we were pleasantly surprised that it does cater for English too, 99% of the staff do speak English. Do be aware of most of the Germans though because they have a habit of pushing in, and they are very ignorant, and the Russians are even worse. (make sure you put your towels on your sunbeds as early as you can though. There's a lot of entertainment for all, beach parties, ampitheartres, pirate boat, mini club for kids, aerobics, scooters to hire, chill out lounge, do go under the tunnel (underpass) to the other side of the hotel, it's where all the entertainment is as well as the rest of the pools the snack bars, the food can get a bit repetative, so do have a wander around. There are shops in the complex, not expensive, but cheaper over the road out of the complex, souvenirs are trebble or more in duty free coming home, so be careful. There is a magnificent sunset that has to be seen. The bar staff are great but be aware of the manager, he's like bloody Hitler walking about, treats his bar staff like slaves. Dont book that Thomas Cook "Waterfall Trip" it's a waste of money costs £30 each, if you can hire a car do so and do your own thing, its hired for 12 hours and if you are confident about driving it's your best bet you can do and go where you want, and it's not expensive at all. Carefull with the weather it did reach 52 degrees. Side is nice with the waterfalls, theres loads to do hiring a car, it's a beautiful country, amazing. Only downfall we had in our room was the maids, they didn't clean the rooms proper, and a couple of belongings went missing, and we had to keep a room on as we had a late flight home, and even that room was left in a mess with no towels, my daughter-in-law, had to go and get some. Overall a really great holiday, we plan to go again. Oh by the way the beer is efes, it's ok, and if you want the internet it's hopeless.

We was a party of 10 all family, 6 adults and 4 children aged between 2-12, we stayed for 14 nights, we arrived at 12am the rooms were ready and only took about 20 mins to get to our rooms, (not bad) staff were very friendly, not like what people are saying, food good but a little repetitive, also there are plenty of fridges stocked with bottled water around the complex and island which you can help yourself to. also watch out for the Russians pushing in the queue for food, the new eftalia island was amazing with the new aqua park and mini aqua park for little kids, non of us got bored at all for the 2 weeks we were there. We was a little scared of coming to this hotel with the bad reviews, well please ignore them, it's not just Germans that are based there, there was Germans, Russians, Polish, Romanians, and plenty of English, the disco is based on Germans but the kids still had fun joining in, also kids and adults can enjoy the foam party's at night time it was amazing, would recommend using ear plugs for the water park as my husband got really bad ear infection and was in pain, we don't know if this had anything to do with the toboggan water slide as the pool got closed the next day for a few days, we had an amazing time here and would recommend this hotel to anyone, we are looking to book again for next year

Had a lovely 10 days here, great place for kids and adults with plenty to do, and quiet areas when you want them. The Hotel is very clean and well maintained, I think some of the reviews on here are rather unfair. There is a large selection of food, and I'm not fussy, but it is very repetitive, and geared towards the Russians. all inclusive drink selection is very limited, Red / white wine, Vodka, Gin and a clear coloured whiskey are the only choices. Water in bottles is freely available in fridges dotted round the hotel. The Hotel has a free wifi connection, which is awful and hardly works, but if you are persistant you can get a few minutes out of it before it cuts you off.
Overall, a decent hotel for the price, location is not the best as well out of town, but if you just want to chill, then it's worth it.

Room Tip: Worth upgrading to a 2 bedroom suite
