We have just come back from a weeks stay at this hotel and would really recommend it in terms of value and service. The niggles are small - the rooms are not very big or modern but have everything you need - the balcony overlooked a lot of others and therefore didnt give much privacy - the air conditioning dosent work until June but on one morning (still in April!) the temperature was 37c at 10am therefore AC would have made it more bearable. The biggest bugbear was the noise - we overlooked the main part of the hotel and very loud music played until midnight every night - once that stopped people started coming back to their rooms very noisily!
All these niggles could be avoided by simply paying a bit extra for a non standard room. These were in a different part of the hotel and most of niggles bar the AC would not be a problem.
We were one of three lots of English people in the hotel, with the main being Russian - no complaints about them as did not interfere with our enjoyment at all, although would have been nice to have had more English to chat to. The service we got from all the staff once they knew we were English was superb. The food was good and plentiful. The beach is horrible grey concrete looking sand but the pier is lovely. The location isn't brilliant - shops across the road okay and a restaurant but you have everything in the hotel complex including Spa, where we have a Turkish bath and an amazing massage for around £25 each - a must do! Also used the hairdressing shop for Shave for my husband and pedicure for me - staff in here were hilarious!
Hotel very much geared towards young children but was enough for older ones to do aswell and would take our teenagers with us if with went again.
Not sure I would want to go when the hotel was busier but would definitely recommend it and would go back.
Must just say this was our first trip to Turkey and got very confused when being quoted prices as use US Dollars and Euros - neither of which apply to us - luckily have a currency converter on phone as very confusing. Was really pleased how cheap things were especially shoes and bags!
