My 9-year old daughter had one thing on her agenda for our trip to Costa Rica - Ziplining. We were considering a more "extreme" version, but our hotel recommended OCT as a better choice for families. I'm so glad we went with them--we did the 7:30 am tour and were the only four there (2 adults, 2 kids ages 9 and 10). Our guides were Johnny, Jose and Jose. They were fun, but we felt very safe and secure the whole time. The Tarzan swing was the first thing--I think I would have liked it better if I had been a little more "warmed up" on a couple zip lines, but it was great fun. The last two long runs are great--very scenic. Definitely recommend, especially with kids or if you've never zip-lined before.
Tips - wear longs pants, or at least longer shorts, even if it's warm out. The harness straps pretty tightly around your legs and wouldn't feel good on bare skin. And go on the earliest tour--we were the only ones there and it wasn't hot yet!
