This hotel was by far the best hotel ever! If it was posible to do 6*, it would be! Staff were amazing, so chatty, so friendly, would give you a hug and dance with you at night, you felt like proper friends with them! Room was beautiful, had an amazing view and had my two children right next door, 16 year old and a 10 year old, and it was interconnecting, so could pop in to check they were okay! Drinks just kept coming and coming from the staff! Such a clean place, rooms were cleaned properly, and if anything went wrong, the staff wolud be there within minutes! Our safe batteries drained and we couldn't open the safe! We had everything in there! Went straight downstairs and they sent someone up and was ficed within 5 minutes! We arrived there and were gobsmacked, it was even better than the pictures! The pool was cleaned daily, you could tell, and the sunloungers were lovely! A man would come round with a cart and offer you drink and salads and put it on the table next to you. The towels they provided were lovely, perfect for drying off in! The entertainment was lovely! Kids disco which my youngest went to, I could leave here there without me there! And the disco organisers actually brought her back to me if I told them where I would be. The empitheatre's entertainment was brilliant, such an enjoyment to watch! We went for walks around the resort every night and it was so pleasant! The food was brilliant, such a good selection, couldn't fault a thing! Fantastic waiters! We went to every a'la carte while there, and they were all delicious! The ice cream that was on offer was lovely! The internet area was so comfy and relaxing, litle tables for your laptop and a comfy leather seat for you! The main reception were very helpful, with everything! We met some people over there, and are still in touch with them! We're deifnetley going to go back! Was worth the money!

Hotel
Modern, stylish, contemporary, very clean. We loved the room mini fridges as they were topped up with numerous beers, 2 colas and a selection of soft drinks daily. We hardly discovered the whole of the hotel in one week as it is so large! The lobby bar was really plush and I loved the big sofas outside on the terrace, particularly at night during sunset, it was beautiful! The pool was fairly cold but bareable once you had been laying out in the heat for some time. Also loved the vast amount of seating in this resort, hammocks, laying chairs, round arm chairs, sunbeds, all so comfortable!

Location
Transfer time was bareable from Bodrum Milas airport. (First pickup last drop off but well worth it for the scenary.) Hotel was in a quiet, secluded area. Akyarlar was a 10 minute walk along the beach, we were told there were a few bars and little shops there. Bodrum / Gumbet was about 40 minutes at least on a minibus, not actually that far in terms of distance but the roads were bumpy and there were lots of hills which is why it takes time.

Entertainment
The entertainment shows every night were fantastic! We particularly liked the MJ show which took place at the Ampitheatre. A lot of thought went into these nights, popcorn is served and blankets are there for when you get a little chilly later on! The professional dancers were of an exceptional standard, every night there was something for everyone. Comedy, tributes, musicals, cultural pieces. The animation team were so friendly at Kefaluka. They would daily come to have a catch up with you and ask you if you wanted to participate in any of their games/activities. Whenever we said no they kept asking, but we found if we said sorry they said okay and left us. We really got on well with Deniz, Mehmet and Riza. They were all part of what made our excellent holiday!

Food
We only ate in the main restaurant and zuzu snack bar on our holiday. We did not try any of the a la carte restaurants but I was told they were of a good standard. The main restaurant served a huge selection of dishes to suit all, salads, english, traditional, however Friday was my favourite as it was fish night, they served paella, cooked individual pieces of fish for you and I also enjoyed the sushi. We enjoyed the zuzu bar in the late afternoon when we had missed lunch and wanted something smaller.

Drinks
I enjoyed the cocktails! Pina Coladas were my favourite and the staff sometimes spruced them up a bit with sauces in pretty shapes and used umbrellas etc! The waiters were excellent, we generally helped ourselves to drinks at the bar but we could have had table service or even sunbed service regularly if we had wanted! I found sometimes the pool bar got busy, I felt a little sorry for the barman maybe he could use a little help at peak times especially during later months in the season.

Rooms
I had seen reviews before our holiday where someone explained the rooms were small which did concern me before going. However, we got there and I was pleasantly surprised at the space we had in our standard room. Enough to do handstands /cartwheels just as an eg of how big they were! The air con in the rooms was not the greatest, however we didn't have huge problems sleeping. We found when the cleaners tidied our room they left the balcony door open which actually created a nice cool breeze when we returned to our room later. Definite tip for anyone going over the aircon in the afternoon!

The weather was perfect whilst we were on holiday! 30c tops and at it's minimum 24c.

Negatives
I think the breakfast could be served until 11 ish for people who have had later evenings. We sometimes woke up just a little too late and found ourselves a bit hungry. I think there could be a snack bar which you can take food out of to eat by the pool. Maybe perhaps somewhere you can get sandwiches from, we really missed those!
The air con which I mentioned earlier could be cooler.

There were two dolphins which were kept in a pen out at sea which I didn't really agree with. The enclosure was very small and I am not sure it is fair on them, however people seemed to enjoy paying to swim with them for a short while.

The disco in the hotel is empty after show finishes at 11 purely due to amount of older people and families at hotel. We found a couple of nights a trip into Gumbet Bodrum was a good idea if we wanted to dance and drink for a younger environment.

Positives
Staff were so friendly! Met some really nice people there, plush hotel, lots to do if you want to however Bodrum was a little too far to do more than twice in a weeks holiday. Staff organized two trips into bar street when we were there which were really good nights out! Definitely reccomend any 20s-30's going to this resort to ask staff to take them!

Room Tip: The higher your room was the quieter it was!

Just arrived back from the Kefaluka Resort, lovely hotel with beautiful gardens that lead onto a outstanding beach large spacious rooms ( upgraded to a family room at no extra cost ). Excellent selection of food and drink all day and night, negatives are the wine scam they offer you a bottle in the a la carte restaurant then tell you that you have to pay 20 euros as you are leaving, also they have two dolphins in a very small confined caged area offering you to swim with them at a extortionate price for a few minutes swim. Met a lovely couple Richard and Hyacinth hopefully we'll meet up soon Richard took Hyacinth up Bodrum she had a fantastic time.
My recommendation for the food is the owl soup lovely.
This is our third and won't be the last trip we take to this hotel.

Just returned home from Kefaluka. Will start with the good points, the hotel is amazing, very clean with good size pools(too cold to get in),food very good, service and waiting staff excellent, rooms clean. Now to the bad points, air conditioning very poor(very hot at night), entertainment staff abit annoying always pestering you to do games all day and will happily sit on the end of your sunbed and ask for 1 of your cigarettes, they will join you when your having your meals(which is very annoying), If they ask you for money for bingo tickets politely refuse as we paid 20 lira and didnt play as they told us the wrong time and i have a feeling the tickets would be free when u got to the disco, the drive from the airport is really bad(be prepared), the shop on site is really expensive. There are 2 dolphins that arrived at the hotel not so long ago and they are kept in very cramped conditions, both dolphins have problems with wounds to there noses and we watched some guests swim with them(if thats what i can call it)and the man would get the guests to kiss them on the nose when you can quite clearly see that there are open wounds on them, they charge nearly £70 to be in the water with them for less than 5 mins, i would of thought that the hundreds of pounds that they make from tourists they would make the dolphins enclosure alot bigger, 1 of the dolphins just bobs up and down next to the fence all day obviously distressed.
The late check out charges are £25 for the room till 4 or £35 for the room till 8.
Hotel in very quiet location nothing to do in surrounding areas.

Just returned from my first time to Turkey, hated the usual Thomas Cook cramped tired old dirty planes, and transfers (2 buses this trip!)and this place seemed like miles away, it was like a quad bike ride over some local broken roads to get there, and endless especially at 3am local time. but well worth it, the hotel was truly Amazing lets start with the views, stunning, the hotel, bright, modern, spacious, spotless, rooms were new bright ours with a full pool and sea view, really lovely. food good choice, fresh, (no full English) and a little tasteless but just endless, morning, noon, night, same with the drinks (plus mini bar in rooms with real Cola, Beer, water, orange) my advice get a waiter on your side straight away with a small tip in each place you are in and he will be your best mate all the trip! The Al a carte was nice for the small charge and a nice change when the resort fully opens up (it was only 70% open when we was there) as the restaurant views are breathtaking, The Animation team were a pain in the as the hotel was half empty while we was there so they were on you all day trying to get you doing things! a firm no thankyou and they get the message. Some waiters get on your nerves as they strive to get a tip, but no problem really. The pool was freezing, the indoor pool nice, however spa and treatments overpriced but the Turkish bath I loved it! even at 30 euros. When the hotel has a conference on (and it had 4 while we was there) be prepared for long food lines and long main lift delays (use side lifts) or book into Al a carte and avoid them. The pier has a beer bar and sun loungers and a nice breeze (not that you may need one as it can get quite windy anyway there) and a 2 Dolphin show (he tries to get you to pay to feed and swim with them) we fed them and watched the small performance free as no one else was there! or haggle they all love that, local village a 10 minute beach walk and like going back in time (loved it) but again haggle re wine etc! Markets in Bodrum great copied T Shirts, watches etc, Anyway to sum up, great value, great place, great weather, great food, nice rooms, spotless, good service, free wireless so used Viber on my ipad/iphone for free telephone calls an texts and we will return if the price remains the same, faults......poor entertainment in May, and the entertainment manager always moaning to guests! no heated outdoor pool, and air con problems, take mosi spray or plug in for room, make sure you book sea view as the back is a mountain! HAGGLE & Have fun!

Room Tip: book sea view essential
