We read the reveiws before we went and decided to find out for ourselves and did we... To start with, The minute you enter this hotel you are gob smacked with the views from the reception it is fabulous the view of cos is amazing!!! We did have a mix up over the rooms as we had my husbands parents with us and our two girls age 6, 8 but to be very honest the reception staff were brill and sorted it out very quickly and we ended up with a villa which was not nly beautiful but fantastic!! The decor is very contempory and chiq and all brand spanking new which was lovely. The views from this hotel are really amazing and looking over to akayalar village is fab an so relaxing. The food is great always something to choose from and hot an fresh, tip... use the italian at lunch time the food here is yummy and the pizza's are a big hit with the kids, all fresh and stone baked there great. The actual complex / resort is huge and perfectly decorated and its spottless 24 hours a day, the beds are very very comfy and the rooms are cleaned and fridges filled everyday. The water park is small but does the job for little ones and the jetti is fab to sit on and swim up to for a drink. The walk into akayalar is lovely as you can reach it from along the beach. Yes, i admitt this place is quite secluded but its 20 mins on the dolmush to turgrtreise or 20 mins in a cab to gumbet so you have everything around you if you really want it we did both . The market is on on saturday in turgtreise but my opinion is just go to gumbet for you shopping as its much more relaxed and cheaper than the market, (less hassle). All in all this really is heaven on earth when they say all inclusive the really mean all inclusive, they cannot do enough for you the staff are fab and esra the thomson rep is brilliant any probs she will sort it out asap for you, she is great thankyou Esra for all your help .. If you could give a rating above 5 star this hotel really would deserve that 6th star and i am very fussy and hard to please but honestly this place will chill you out and have you wanting to stay for an extra week or 2 in hours. Please dont listen to the negatives as they are very small and easily fixed this really is heaven on earth ...... We will defo be going back in the near future thanku all the staff at the Kefaluka for making our holiday so so special, go and see for yourself you will NOT be dissapointed i promise you .

I returned from a holiday to the Kefaluka yesterday. I visited this resort with a female friend (leaving the husbands in rainy UK to play golf!). There are so many fantastic things that can be said about this hotel. it truly is placed in an absolutely stunning location with the most gorgeous views. Personally though I wish that the sleepy village of Akyarlar, down the road, could be traded in for a slightly biiger resort, like Turgetreis, as we did find that outside the hotel the atmosphee was extremely 'low key' so therefore had to get a dolmus to experience something a little more upbeat and to our taste.
The hotel itself is also absolutely stunning and the staff can not do enough for you. We truly felt that everyone within the hotel works so hard to give you the best service possible.
I am extremely well travelled and have stayed in some amazing 5 star hotels around the world, but this was certainly one of the better ones in terms of quality of food and drinks. Lots of international brands on offer, champagne in the lobby bar, food 24 hours a day. Lovely selection in the main restaurant but also superb choice of A' La Cartes and bountiful snacks and ice creams during day. It has to be said that on arrival, after the main restaurant had closed, we did find the late night snacks v. disappointing and not a good indication of how good the actual food quality did turn out to be elsewhere.
In any bar you do not need to wait any length of time for a drink to be brought to you, with dishes of snacks, such as fruit and hot nuts, to munch on, as you drink.
There are many gorgeous places for you to sit and relax, with or without a drink. A roman amphitheatre, built into the hillside, is where the entertainment takes place, in the evening, followed by dancing at the Moonlight bar until 1am, and then for those that still want to 'party' there is also a disco that stays open until after 3am.
There is no mad rush for sun beds, in the morning, which is so highly unusual these days. No matter what time you head to the pool or beach there will always be plenty of places available to sunbathe.
The only reason I did not give this hotel full marks, is only down to a few minor things. So please do not let that put you off. I would still be willing to go back to this hotel again some day. The minor discrepancies, for me, being that the air conditioning does need looking at. In areas where there is air conditioning, it is not only very noisy, but also does not work very well, so the bedrooms and some of the bars can get quite hot. The mini bar in the room is also a bit of a joke...only 2 beers a day....we are, by no means, alcoholics, and yes, I'm aware that there were countless bars on site for us to get a drink from, but sometimes it would have been nice to have had a beer to hand when we returned for a relatively early night, rather than the restriction of just having one to get ready of an evening. I also would have preferred there to have been a few more British tourists. We were very much in the minority, and it would have been nice to have had a few more Brits around to talk to of an eve. We certainly are not saying we would want a hotel where it was just us Brits, but we were surrounded by lots of affluent Turks, and sometimes felt that being two females alone we were being 'judged' (wrongly, I might add!) by some of the local female guests and we also had quite a lot of attention (of the other kind!) from the local male guests...who did not seem put off, no matter how many times we said we were married women!!! I think by having more British guests to converse with we might have felt a little more comfortable at times, and less like we stuck out like sore thumbs, if you get my drift.
All that aside though....I would totally reccomend this hotel to all and am sure you will have a fabulous time. I certainly would look to return, but, this time with the husband!!

I have just returned from this lovely resort.
I am a travel agent, and would thoroughly recommend it. The scenery is stunning, and drinking cocktails watching the sun set was amazing.
The quality and variety of food was exceptional, a great choice of a'la carte restaurants, great service from all members of staff, and a brilliant animation team created a perfect holiday.

It was so relaxing to know that there wasnt a rush for a sun bed, as there were always lots and lots to choose from, without having to get up early to join the rush to bag a sunbed.
there was an array of loungers, hammocks, sofas and beautiful chairs scattered all over the resort if you fancied a change.

The children loved the water slides, and daily activities that were on offer, you can even sail a hobie cat/fun boat etc, but you need to bring your certificate to do so.

The resort has a friendly and luxurious ambience and is stunning when lit up at night.

whilst perhaps the reservation system for the a'la carte restaurants needs to be looked at and improved/addressed, this didnt hinder our holiday in any way, as we were always able to book the restaurant of our choice.

I would love to return
