“Hotel Summer”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 May 2014 via mobile

We stayed for one week in early May. It's a good hotel with very friendly and happy staff. The hotel is approx 5 minutes away from the bars and restaurants so is very quiet at night. the rooms are non-smoking and very clean. the shower was very powerful and there was endless hot water. Breakfast of cereals, bread, cheese, jam, orange juice, eggs, coffee, cheese rolls and salad so no problems there. the staff make the hotel shine really, they were so friendly and put up with us practicing our Turkish and taught us the correct pronunciation. For those interested the sheets and towels are changed every day and the rooms cleaned (I don't do this at home so it's a treat for me!) Thank you so much for a wonderful, relaxing holiday.

My Wife and myself stayed here in June 2013 for a week. The manager Eray and staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is located in a peaceful location but only a 10 minute walk from lovely restaurants and the beach.

It was so good that we went again in September and again the stay was just as perfect as the first time.

Eray was his usual helpful self with advice on where to go and what to see and where to hire a car etc.

The icing on the cake for us when after a couple of days we were chatting to two guests that had read our previous Trip Advisor Review and on the strength of it had booked for a fortnights stay. Towards the end of their first week the said it was exactly as we had described it and thanked us for taking the time out to write such a good review.

Stayed here for two weeks at the end of August.
Small twelve bed roomed hotel about ten minutes from the town centre
The owner/manager was superb, in so much as very helpful, even arranging car hire when our holiday rep failed to make contact.
The hotel rooms are well furnished with ample storage space, & each room has a safety deposit box & air con, all included.
Only meal taken at the hotel was breakfast, which was traditional Turkish style, & plenty of choice & good supply of tea & coffeee
Sun terrace was lovely with an adequate supply of loungers & brollies, & the pool was nice & very well maintained.
Akyaka itself is gorgeous with a plentiful choice of bars & restaurants, all representing incredible value for money.
Lovely walks alongside the river, & in the other direction a wooded area that stretches for a couple of miles.
Beach was crowded, but 40 minute walk sees you at another superb beach ( Carin Beach )
Took a couple of boat trips, again very helpful people, & if you choose the boat called Captain 1 it is uncrowded, & guaranteed no music!
Probably one of the best Turkish holidays, helped by the hotel & staff who were so obliging.
Hiring the car enabled us to explore us to explore a bit further afield, again some lovely places including Dacta on the peninsula, & Kindos archaeological site.
Word of warning, avoid Marmaris, unless you like burgers bars & pizza's !

Stayed 2 nights. Manager Eray is so kind and likes to help. It is located in a peaceful area means good for those dont like to be in the noisy and busy part of the town. Excellent place to relax after your heavy night :-) There are no much room since it is a boutique hotel but all big enough. You feel like you are at home. The hotel location is close to too many touristique and natural beauty spots..

Really good place for short or long vacations. We have stayed for 3 days in July, the staff were friendly, helpful and reliable people. Nice landscape, peaceful area, delicious meals ... if you want to stay away from city and relax, it's a good place for this. We are planing with my friends for staying there again for August.
