Best seafood I had in Thailand. When on Koh Mak you simply have to go there for diner or lunch.
Call them and they will send a songthaew to pick you up (and bring you back).
My favourite is the fried crab in black pepper, very yummy and not too spicy compared to chili based dishes. We also had the deepfried soft shell crab, thai style fried fish (not in a batter but dry fried in oil) all very fresh and tasty. Also try the scallops when in season, served either with butter or with garlic and thai basil (see pic).
Really worth the detour and the staff / owners are genuinly friendly.
