“Great little cafe!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 June 2014

Have been many times to The Little Ox! Such a happy vibe. Menu never disappoints. Good fresh ingredients coupled in interesting combinations of flavours. But it's the range of sauces and marinades that make everything so yummy! Coffee just brings a big smile, every time. Great work team!

“Worth the wait and best coffee in town”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 May 2014

you can't do better than Little Ox coffee. And now they even have almond milk option to add to soy option for lactose intolerant! How new age is that?!

Great food, prices are ok. Some good daily menu specials as well as regular menu options.

Catch a glimpse of national media, sport, music and entertainment celebrities on a regular basis. No big deal. Nobody blinks an eye at it. Music is usually playing pretty loud, so conversations are reasonably private.

For the most part, service is consistently friendly. Some days you can get a staff member on a bad day, which can be a bit of a bummer, but generally they are elderly friendly, kid friendly, lycra friendly, and everyone else friendly too.

I would only ask that glassware and water bottles are a bit cleaner, and that the tables are wiped down a bit more conscientiously, as I often still have a sticky or dirty table after a previous patron. Having said that, I have put up with a lot to eat here, because the coffee is EXQUISITE and I am on great terms with almost all staff members, it's conveniently close to home and I love the food.

Parking is pretty difficult though, and you'll often have to wait 15 minutes to half an hour in a queue in peak times, like weekend mornings and week day lunch times. But just park in the next block, walk down, order a take away coffee and wait your turn, coz it's worth it!

Trendy, cool, smooth coffee, yummy food, great atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff and laid back Brighton atmosphere. Best of Melbourne. Get some!

Away from street lined shops this place offers class cuisine. .. for lunch it has a great buzz... packed with the brighton socialites... nice place but excellent food.

“Simply fantastic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 February 2014

What a great little find in these quiet backstreets! The food is so fresh and exquisitely tasty, the service very friendly and prompt, the atmosphere is relaxed and cheerful ... no wonder so many people make it to this little place!
