My wife and I visited on 1st March 2014. The menu is limited but not a bad sign no warmed up food here.I had excellent Rib Eye Steak on a bed of chopped veg and small roasted potatoes for mains and my starter was smoked fish terrine wrapped in smoked salmon,it was smooth and creamy and was perfection never had better. The restaurant was quiet due to the chef being let down with a group booking at the last minute, but this did not detract from the atmosphere with amazing views from the elevated position. This is one place not to miss when in the area lunchtime or evening.

Just returned from Valentines Day dinner. The Gambas starter came sizzling to the table served with oven fresh bread. The home made soup was exceptional with shredded Iberico Ham, yummy! One of the best Fillet Steaks we have ever had with fresh fabulous veggies and sauted new potatoes. Didn't manage a pud. Service was fab and the Chef comes out to check you enjoyed the food which is always a bonus. exceptional value for money, worth the short drive from Matagorda or you could take a cab and enjoy their nice wines!

When you've walked up to Hoyo19 you will have the best views and food to saviour. Service can be slow so make sure you have some time to enjoy. Pick a clear day. No dress code and don't have to play golf a little secret gem it seems as in 3 weeks even locals did not know about Hoyo19
If you can't walk up the hill for about 4euro in a taxi but worth it and the menus prices are less than in the town.

We have been coming to Lanzarote for over 20 years and earlier this year we discovered the best place on the island to eat.

We have returned on several occasions and have sampled the tapas, the once monthly Sunday barbeque and also the fabulous evening meals.

The food here is first class, as is the service. The ambience is relaxed & friendly whilst remaining very professional. The setting is idyllic looking out from the tranquil terrace across the course to the sea. At night you can watch the sun set and the moon rise whilst being treated to some of the best cuisine on the island.

You don't have to play golf or be a member to eat here, during the day you can pop up any time but if you want to eat in the evening you must make a reservation. If you do you definitely won' t be disappointed.
