I've been staying in hotels all over France for 35 years now, but this is the worst. Not only as regards the hotel itself but also as regards the rudeness and incivility of the owner and his daughter.
The hotel is a sort of 'battery farm' for visitors to Mont Saint Michel as added to the original small hotel building is a sort of 'motel' extension of small hutches.
We arrived at about 8p.m., and the smell of rancid cooking oil from the kitchens which coagulated around the outside dining patch ('area' is too grand a word) was truly nauseating. The diners were all jammed together on a tiny area of decking, which was supposedly the outside dining "terrasse", right next to the car park. The food looked distinctly unappetising, and so we ate elsewhere.
But the worst aspect is the rudeness of the owner. I speak fluent French, having worked in France for over 14 years, but I'd hate to be a foreign visitor here. His rudeness and incivility was by far the worst I've experienced.
This hotel should be avoided - unless you're absolutely desperate.
