We spent two nights at Da Vittorio towards the end of a 3 week tour in France & northern Italy. Many fine restaurants & excellent meals.
Da Vittorio was outstanding. The Restaurant setting, staff attention & quality of food were all at the top end of our experience.
This is primarily a high quality family run restaurant with a small number of beautifully appointed rooms.
We concur with other recent Tripadvisor reviews which cannot find fault with either the restaurant or accomodation.
The highlight was Enrico's (one of two sibling chefs) suggestion we try his selection of dishes incorporating white truffles, the first of this seasons supply just having arrived. three dishes arrived showing the truffle at it's best with pasta & risotto.

First class all the way. Great room, great hospitality and outstanding food. The owner could not have done more to ensure that we were comfortable and enjoyed ourselves.

The hotel is lovely and set into the side of a hill looking down over a valley. It is a family run hotel and what an amazing family! It was almost like you were adopted from the moment you walked in. The rooms are very nice with all the comforts you could require, but the food is what this hotel is really about. We stayed four nights which allowed us to sample many of the delights on offer. Enrico and Roberto (the head chefs) would come out of the kitchen which you can see into and make recommendation or little changes especially for you which again made you feel special and welcome. The service was the perfect mix of friendly and courteous with a great balance of attentiveness without being intrusive.
If you had to pick fault I do not like the pets in the restaurant and the bar area is not really big enough as it's in the entrance hall but these are minor gripes with what was otherwise a supreme experience of probably the best food in the world!

We can't say enough good things about this hotel and restaurant. We were greeted like we were royalty, checked into an absolutely gorgeous room with a huge patio, and had the most amazing lunch. Enrico, the executive chef, was on hand to help serve and to speak to us - not only at lunch but later that night when we had a drink by the fire pit. He is a warm and charming man, and his food is about the best we ever had. It's such a pleasure to talk to a 3 Michelin star chef, when he would have every right to rest on his laurels. This was our next to last night in Italy, and we are still talking about how wonderful it was. It's pricey but well worth it. I have one suggestion - upgrade the pillows in room 101 :)

It all started so well. The welcome, the room--fantastic, beautiful. This was the last three star on our trip through Italy and we had very high expectations. There was some sort of event happening in the evening we had dinner. The staff were completely focused on this and utterly neglected us. We had to make our own way to our table, carrying our own drinks, from the spot where we had our apperatifs and amuse-bouches. When we got to our table, the entire staff was discussing and preparing for the imminent arrival of the group of people (as many as 80) that were drinking by the pool, and attended to us as an afterthought. It just went down hill from there. The sommelier forgot to ask if I wanted a different wine with my veal course. The veal itself was steam cooked next to the table. They have this cute gimmick where they use an hour glass, placed on your table, to time the cooking of the veal (they do it, apparently, with some of the fish dishes too). Well, the lady told me 'turn it over twice more' and then the veal will be ready. Given the total lack of attentiveness, I knew what was going to happen, and indeed it did: I turned it over and when the last grains of sand fell through for the third time, nobody was paying attention so they veal continued to be cooked. Two mins later, she realised what had happened and approached the table. No suggestion of admitting the mistake and starting over--I got the overcooked veal. My wifes turbot was overcooked and dry. By this time we were furious and humiliated and we sent it back.

A shocking experience. You dont want to pay more than EUR500 for any meal and feel humiliated. This is supposed to be perfection, but instead was a cruel joke on us. I'm sure it was just an off night, but three star restaurants arent allowed to have off nights. When you pay that sort of money, there should be NO risk of an off night.

The service the next day was very gracious except from one of the staff who was clearly chewing sour grapes because of how we didnt bother hiding our disapointment and contempt the night before. Breakfast, it has to be said, was sensational.

We went to both Dal Pescatore and Le Calandre as well--these two were truly wonderful. Da Vittorio will forever live in infamy for us.

the hotel and restaurant offered just about the best service we've ever had. while there are exceptions, french hotels/restaurants of this quality tend to be stuffy, stiff, even disdainful. not so here. here you know you're in italy because warmth radiates from the many family members involved with all aspects of the hotel and restaurant. the dining room possesses 3 michelin stars, and your bill will reflect that fact.

Room Tip: corner room 105 was large and extremely comfortabe

We have traveled to all Michlin 3 stars in France. But this Da Vittoril is one of the best experiences. They have moved to Brusaporto 5 years ago in a tranquil hillside but it is packed with fans from Milan and elsewhere. It was off season so there are no other foreign travelers but us. The building is sumptiously decorated including our room with balcony.Service is good. Particularly chef patrons are pleasant. Food is delicious. The room is tastfully decorated and comfortable with a wonderful firm bed that woudl not make a noise even if you jump on it.

Room Tip: The room on the first floor is with balcony.
