Greeted by someone who's response when we said we had made a reservation was 'sorry I'm foreign write it down' wasn't a good start. The room was basic which is fine as we weren't here for facilities but more for the location. The bathroom was awful though. A filthy shower curtain, no bath mat (but instructions on how to use it were on the wall) The bath was marked where a mat had left dark brown circles all over it but hadn't been cleaned off.
The toilet cistern was not stuck to the wall properly and moved when you sat down which was a bit unnerving, and it generally smelt like a mens unrinal in there.
So glad it was just one night we had booked.

after reading the reveiws for this hotel i was really worried about being placed here in tempory accomadation, but on arrival i found the owner and the staff friendly and welcoming,i stayed 4 6weeks and the whole time i had hot water, clean room, and heating on when ever i wanted, the owner made me and my son feel welcome and the staff where lovely and hepled me settle in,i didnt come across any thing that other people have said they did, while this is not a top end hotel if you are say treating a loved one to a special time away,it is clean and the staff are great,my room had everything in i needed and my bathroom was clean...thankyou to you all there love holly and the bald baby lol

Just needed an overnight stay in Milton Keynes area, so didn't bother looking at reviews - what a big mistake. Room was freezing cold as no heating on and window had been left open - in February, took about 6 hours to warm up. Bathroom had mould round bath, toilet did not flush properly. Most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept on, with springs poking through and no mattress cover. Did not dare look at the state of the mattress for fear that we would not get any sleep. Ordered breakfast for 8am when we booked in, but when we went to reception the following morning to ask where the dining room was, we were looked at in amazement, before being told that staff had not turned in. We returned to our room and the phone rang about 30 mins later asking if we still wanted breakfast, which we declined due to needing to attend an appointment - now looks like we had a lucky escape having read other reviews. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Cold, smelly and badly run. No evening meal but states it does. Long way out for restaurants. Would not recommend this place at all. Travel lodge is a short distance away. Company booked this place and will not be using it again.

Shoddy, dirty hotel. Breakfasts ok, but no evening food available. Most customers appear to be builders/tradespeople working locally or DSS families in temporary accom. The hotel is basically in a layby, next to a restaurant which is usually shut and a garage/car wash place. Unless you drive, there is no escape and no local amenities. Owner actually told me to FO when I asked for a discount, luckily I have a sense of humour, he doesn't.

Room Tip: If you want a good room - stay somewhere else.

Upon ariveing at this hotel we was greeted by a lady who could not understand a word of English and the hotel owner who was sat in his chair in the lobby with with a cover wrapped round him !!! In entering the first floor it was smelly and noisy and we suspected that most of the hotel staff are living here with there children and once again can not speake a word of English and I believe to be illegal imergrants . The room was cold dirty and smelly also th toilet didn't work properly and the tv worked but we received about four channels . The beds were very uncomfy and me and my room mate felt very unsettled and dint feel very safe . We got up and went for breakfast as we was waiting for are breakfast we overheard a women coffing in the kitchen very loudly and not covering her mouth clearly !! The £7.50 breakfast was horrible and coverd in Grease and was shabby 1 sausage 1 bacon a small portion of beans and a chopped tomato 2very greasy eggs .on leaving I complained about the tv .when we came back to r room it was clear nothing had been done or cleaned as the beds weren't made the tv weren't sorted and the bin was not emptied .i could go on and on about this dump of a dump and strongly advice not to stay here if I could swear I would !!!!!

No hot water, complained to reception and got a shrug! hostel for families needing B and B - I know this is necessary for some families, however, when you are paying a considerable sum you do not expect families to be 'moving in' at all hours. Filthy conditions, i did complain but....

I eventually went to a travel lodge. i have tried complaining to environmental health but no one got back.
